We love outdoor learning and are so lucky to have this wonderful place on our doorstep. Hopefully we can visit @JupiterWildlife again sometime! @LADICKSON76@MorayPS
We played lots of fun games with Alex our ranger @JupiterWildlife today. The predator game had us working in teams and the mini beast game taught us how many legs each mini beast has π·οΈππͺ²πͺ±πͺ°#teamgames#Funtimes@LADICKSON76
Alex told us to look under stones, logs and piles of leaves. We were so excited to find spiders, beetles, woodlouse, caterpillars and snails. The special bug cups had magnifying glasses on top so that we could examine them close up #STEM @JupiterWildlife @LADICKSON76 πͺ²πͺ±π·οΈππ
My den building team were superstars today! Talk about team work ππ³π They collected logs, foliage to decorate it, built a campfire (with buttercups to act as flames π₯) It even had a flag on the top! #problemSolving#Collaboration#Imagination @JupiterWildlife @LADICKSON76
Mrs Brown's team had a wigwam style den. The children worked together to ensure their den could shelter them in all weathers π³πππ #TeamWorkMakesTheDreamWork@brownjilli1@LADICKSON76 @JupiterWildlife
Alex's team had cleverly balanced a long large branch between 2 trees stumps and then stacked lots of branches against it to make a brilliant shelter. We all agreed it was fantastic ππ³ #outdoorfun#DenBuilding @JupiterWildlife @LADICKSON76
Alex demonstrated how to pond dip with the nets. We learned all about the different fascinating creatures that live in ponds. It was a brilliant hands on experience #PondDipping#OutdoorLearning#MakingMemories@LADICKSON76 @JupiterWildlife
