Sharing your parent with the team can be hard at times, and being coach to your own child is tough. But special moments like this make it all worthwhile. ❤️❤️❤️
Happy Weekend everyone.
So important that when @BorisJohnson announces new lockdown rules tomorrow for some , grassroots sports OUTSIDE must be allowed to continue when played under the association guidelines ! It's so so important for the mental and physical wellbeing of thousands of youngsters 🙏🏻
All eyes on Boris again 2moro with rumours that tier 3 lockdown may include;
“No organised non-professional sports or other communal hobby groups or activities will be permitted.”
If true this will be a blow to the grassroots community in any area potentially affected.
Great win today for the start of our league campaign (at last!!) against a very organised and strong Easington Ladies.

Coaching through Covid has been the biggest challenge coaches have faced in a generation. From keeping on top of rapidly changing information coming from multiple sources, keeping Covid secure and keeping players safe whilst coaching to keep players in the game #YourPainIsOurPain
Many will have seen @FA have released statement about track & trace NHS QR code. This goes live Thursday and all clubs need to have this in place for matches from 24th Sept. @OxfordshireFA

Having a good game doesn’t just depend on how many goals you scored. It’s the effort you put into working as a team and being the best teammate you can be that makes good players great players.
“Nobody saw it coming.” 🗣
“We wish she had reached out.” 💭
“We didn’t know how they felt.” 🗣
“He felt like he couldn’t open up.” 💭
This is not the end of your story.
You are not alone.

The UK Government has confirmed that organised sports can continue as an exemption to its latest planned measures in response to COVID-19 and we have provided an update in light of this:
Lots of questions coming in about last nights news. While football was not mentioned specifically it was stated “organised team sports carried out in a Covid-secure way are exempt from the restrictions.”
We await further details and will update as soon as we receive any info
