@Freyy_is@firiadoki Take it from someone who still has ipods, it's also a great way for adults to disconnect from the world and just enjoy music and rest the mind from the overstimulation. I co-sign! ๐น
When I get out of this 'season', I will talk about the unfortunate ideology of 'you abandoned me / you ignored me / you were silent when I needed you, etc. Therefore you're a bad person and you're cancelled'. WO!!! YOU KNOW WHETHER I DON DIE??? ๐๐คฆ๐พโโ๏ธ
delete photos. delete apps. rearrange some furniture. give some clothes away. delete numbers. make your phone display neater. organize your seasonings. organize your clothes. organize your life so you can think clearer.
I think the toughest thing about adulting is that you literally have to keep going! no matter what mood or situation youโre going through. you gotta keep going cause life goes on.
i love people who are really good at putting beautiful words together. whether it be an essay, speech, song, poem, or even advice. i appreciate the beauty of it all.
Ever been deeply broken and in that moment, you have a 'God, I trust you' outburst??...As per 'Baba, na your hand I dey oh! No gree this thing run me streets oh!'
No?? Oh ok! Lol. Sorry oh.
I'm really so thankful. Not for anything specific. I'm just so conscious of the fact that I'm not here by my own strength or might; and this resonates even deeper when things don't seem to be going 'as planned'. Such tender loving. Arghh! ๐
You know the part in the Bible that says: โAbove all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from itโ (NIV), that was a very valid warning. Especially for people who feel EVERYTHING deeply, God Abeg! It can cripple you in many ways if you don't heed to that warning.
My upbringing was not steeped in timidity, so fear is not an 'auto-response'.
Whenever I reflect on how I responded to situations that should've shaken me, I remember this fact. For the memories and the fact itself, I am grateful!
