I’m so sorry to everyone who lost someone, their livelihoods, or who experienced other devastation in this month’s Accra floods. It’s heartbreaking. Flooding has affected our lives year after year, yet it seems not enough has been done to fix this endemic problem in the short or long term. The ting over taya me. We deserve better. We should do better.
Even if you live in a glass house in Accra, don't feel untouchable. Until the heavy rains hit and the floodwaters force their way in. I always keep saying this Ghana can happen to anyone . No warnings, no mercy just reality crashing through. 💔😗😔
A banner of Ghanaian midfielder Caleb Yirenkyi is beautifully displayed at his father's carpentry shop in Bechem, reflecting the immense pride of a father and community whose son has earned the honour of representing Ghana on football's biggest stage.
