I ended up having an emergency C-section and have lost 40lbs since giving birth 👀
I can't believe how terrifying this has all been, we've gone through hell this past month and a half 😅
It's all been worth it though!

Little update:
The babies are here and finally home! They spent some time in the NICU which was absolutely hell, but everyone is home safe, happy, and healthy! Hubby and I are both exhausted, but doing surprisingly well!

Some people think their best friends are the people who:

- Always go to bat to you NO MATTER WHAT
- Don't ever talk back to you or bring up concerns
- Tell you all your ideas are perfect!
- Are basically "Yes men" to everything you do

But really, the people who should be considered your best friends are people who:

✦ Listen to your situations; support your when you're in the right & also be willing to let you know when you are in the wrong
✦ Communicate with you openly when you've hurt them
✦ Give honest, but considerate, feedback when your ideas need some work
✦ Support you but also help keep you grounded

It's more difficult to deal with people who challenge you, even in small ways, but it makes us more well rounded & experienced people.

I personally rather have the people closest to me legit want the best for me, even if that means hearing something I might dislike hearing. Those are the truest friends ✨

Apparently, this experience is somewhat normal, and something my mother had experienced while pregnant with me! I looked like a tiefling for nearly a month following because my sclera were stained by the blood that had leaked under the surface of my eyes.

For extra context on why vomiting had been traumatic for me, it was because I had vomitted so hard that I had blood vessels burst in both my eyes and I had involuntarily emptied my bladder. My hubby rushed me to the ER ASAP because we all thought I was dying.
