Rim of the World Unified School District is aware that Highway 18 is closed at the bottom of the mountain due to a brush fire. We are working closely with San Bernardino County fire to monitor this situation; currently all schools in Rim of the World Unified are open.

LAE Trunk or Treat-Oct 25. We need candy donations: 3 small bags donated at once or 1 large bag gets your child a Cubbie coupon; 5 large bags donated at once, will earn a family of 4 free admission. Admission is $1.00 per person. There will be food, games, and lots of fun.

LAE's Red Ribbon Week is October 21-25th. Students will "Send a message and stay drug free." Each day has a special activity for students & staff to show their pledge. A parent letter was sent home Friday!

For the safety of all students on our buses, there will be no skateboards allowed on the school buses at any time. Please do not send them to the bus stop with a skateboard as we will not allow them on the bus. If you have any questions, please call 909-336-0330.

LAE's PTA Membership Drive ends Sept 30 for prize winning eligibility. But, anyone is welcome to join all year! Envelopes are in our office.
