A bridge linking Cardano to BNB Chain got drained for ten million dollars in NIGHT tokens yesterday.

Four transfers in nine minutes, a flawed validator signature, and roughly 90 percent of it swapped away before anyone could react.

Midnight's own network never touched it. Seven exchanges froze what was left within hours.

Attackers keep going through the bridge because they cannot get through the chain.

He Came for Property, Left Confused About Cardano Native Tokens

It was just another normal day at the office. A client walks in looking to buy real estate. We talk for 20 minutes everything clicks. We view a few properties, he suggests coffee, and the conversation shifts to investments.

He pushes stocks and gold. I politely decline. Then he asks about crypto. I tell him I’ve been investing for years. Suddenly he launches into Ethereum farming, USDC staking, Solana, Pump_fun…

I stop him and say: “Respect to all those projects, but I’m all in on Cardano and not moving. In these times, security is everything — and Cardano has proven to be the safest.”

He hits me with the usual: “It’s too slow, no volume, nothing happening.”

I explain Leios, Plutus, BTC DeFi, Midgard, Midnight… He’s not interested.

He says his coins pumped harder while Cardano keeps falling. I just smiled, remembering my friend’s line: "Cardano, my aching wound." 😅

I told him I prefer steady DCA and real security over risky bridges and hype. When I mentioned Cardano Native Tokens, he looked completely lost.

Classic conversation. Some people just don’t get it. 😌

​🔹 Lower Treasury Costs: IO is evolving into an innovation engine ("IO Labs") modeled after Bell Labs. Core teams behind Plutus, Leios, Peras, and Hydra are transitioning into independent partner entities. Annual treasury funding asks will drop from ~$30M to ~$5M.

​🔹 Throughput Over TPS: Raw TPS is a vanity metric since Cardano bundles multiple operations into a single transaction. Leios and Peras will focus on maximizing block density and significantly speeding up finality.

​🔹 AI & Agentic Workflows: IO Labs is actively integrating AI into its development stack. They are exploring a Cardano-specific MCP (Model Context Protocol) to streamline building for developers.

​🔹 5-Year Plan & Transparency: Future proposals will be openly discussed with the community and DReps ahead of time, ensuring alignment before they even hit the chain for voting.
