Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift, and that's something worth holding onto, especially when life feels heavy. You don't have to have everything figured out. You don't have to be okay all at once, and you don't have to rush yourself through the pain of what you've lost. Just take things one day at a time, one step at a time. Do what makes you happy, even if it's something small. Go where your heart feels at peace, laugh when you can, rest when you need to, and give yourself permission to enjoy the little things without feeling guilty for it. Life may not look the way you hoped it would right now, and that's okay. Sometimes we have to learn to live with the things we cannot change while still making room for the beautiful things that are yet to come. Yesterday has already been lived, tomorrow hasn't arrived, but today is still yours. Make the most of it in whatever way you can, at whatever pace you need. You deserve moments of happiness even while you're healing.
