Also would've liked for him to be on the team trip to build chemistry leading into the season but it is what is.

I noticed that. He was dropping high 20s and they went away from him. That's why I want him on the Lakers. Luka and AR don't get enough credit for how unselfish they are. Kuminga could take over for them at times and fill the role that Bron played in transition. The motor and him buying in is what gives me second thoughts.

Obviously you can never tell what plans new ownership will have, but so far the Lakers haven't given Luka a reason to want out.

They got him his A-List Center, resigned his best friend AR to a max contract, and surrounded him with 3 and D wings like he had in Dallas.

It's not an exact replica of that Mavs team with the glaring hole at the starting forward spot, but delivering on Kessler and his running mate this summer was the main priority.

Luka has continued to embrace the Lakers at every turn, even immediately after the sale to Bob Iger and Kushner.
