Last night's snowfall and the☀️ was shining - so a car-free day out was had.

Got X4 / X5 🚌 from Penrith to Keswick and then walked down to Derwentwater and Friars Crag.

Stunning.

Due to the road between Troutbeck and Aira Force being closed.

Buses between Keswick and Patterdale will instead operated between Keswick and Pooley Bridge via the A66 & Dalemain. The 509 service will terminate at Pooley Bridge instead of Patterdale.

There’s some fabulous #LakeDistrict scenery and attractions around #Rydal, well worth exploring. Very well served by the iconic 555 and 599 buses @StagecoachCNL. You might just make out 2 599’s passing each other by Rydal Water. Great weather to be on the open top deck! ☀️🤩
