The vet team swarmed them the second they burst through the doors. They worked for three hours to stop the internal bleeding and repair the damage.
Lawson refused to leave the room. He stood right there at the metal table, his tactical vest still heavy on his chest, weeping openly as he whispered to the dog who had just traded his life for his.

A doctor who has spent his entire life serving patients in a government hospital ,saving lives, working tirelessly day and night, often without rest or resources , gets harassed by a local neta and his gang of 7–8 goons?

Absolutely unacceptable.
Is this how India treats its doctors?
Those who dedicate their lives to public service are being intimidated by political thugs while the system watches silently?

And what was his fault?
👉 Doing private practice after duty hours to sustain his livelihood?
Since when did that become a crime?

This is exactly why good doctors avoid government jobs , because instead of respect and safety, they get threats and humiliation.

49-year-old Chhaya Purab, who was administered anaesthesia for 4 hours to be transferred from Saphale, Palghar, to Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai, died a PAINFUL death after being stuck on NH 48.

She was injured after a tree fell on her and was enroute to Hinduja Hospital Mahim because of multiple injuries. Initial time showed 2.5 hours, but it took them 3 hours to just reach Virar where she woke up and was shouting in terrible pain.

Due to traffic, chaos and pathetic road condition of NH 48, they could only reach till Mira road after 4 hours.

She was declared brought dead at a hospital in Mira Road.

On 4th Aug, Tamil Nadu INC MP R. Sudha's chain was snatched in Delhi. She wrote to HMO. FIR was filed, teams launched, and today Police arrested the accused and recovered the chain.

In other news, data shows that Delhi Police receives 50,000 to 70,000 PCR calls for snatching complaints each year, but only 10% result in FIRs, and even among those, the majority remain unsolved. I’m sure police stats in other states aren’t very different either.

Even if your life’s savings get stolen, it’ll matter less to the police than an MLA’s missing dog. I remember in 2014, seven buffaloes were stolen from UP minister Azam Khan’s farmhouse. Police launched multiple teams with sniffer dogs, and within roughly 24 hours, they recovered the buffaloes, and even suspended three officers for negligence.

Basically, unless you're powerful, well-connected, or rich, if your chain, purse, or phone gets stolen, consider it gone. Just console yourself with: "Bas kismat mein yahi likha tha."

He is Rajesh Vishwakarma, a poor daily-wage laborer with no land, no parents. He’s the latest casualty of an indifferent Indian justice system.

In June last year, a woman from his neighbourhood asked Rajesh to help her get to the hospital because she wasn’t feeling well. Like any good neighbour, he rushed her there, got her admitted, and then left for work.

By evening, the woman had died. And by the next morning, police arrested Rajesh for her murder and sent straight to jail.

Rajesh didn’t have money to hire a lawyer. For 13 months, he languished behind bars, no trial, no legal advice, no chance to speak to family. It wasn’t police investigation that cleared his name, but the quiet effort of court-appointed legal aid lawyer Reena Verma, who finally proved his innocence.

But freedom hasn’t brought relief. After his arrest, the police locked his rented room without warning. Now he must pay 13 months’ back rent. And despite being declared innocent, no one wants to give him work, to them, he’s just a man who came from jail.

In any sane, just legal system, Rajesh could sue the govt, win millions in compensation, and finally live a life of dignity. But in India? He won’t get a single penny. In fact, adding insult to injury, his sister had to pay a ₹500 bribe just to get back his Aadhaar card and phone from the jail.

1.The neighborhood grocer takes money from the doctor for every tiny item, but whenever he meets the doctor around, he takes medical advice from him for free.
2.The tuition teachers of the doctor’s children take full fees for teaching from the doctor, but whenever they need any medical advice, they get it for free from that doctor.
3.The supporting staff working at the doctor’s home or workplace take full payment for their work from the doctor, but whenever they need any medical advice, they also get it free from the doctor.
4.The doctor’s milkman adulterates the milk and charges fully for it, but when the doctor comes to take milk, the milkman always gets a prescription for medicine written for free.
5.Whether friends, family members, relatives, or acquaintances, all benefit from the doctor’s medical knowledge.
And I am fully certain that no good doctor charges money for any phone consultation.
6.Everyone expects their familiar doctor to waive the fees, but when the doctor comes to their service area, full or even more money is charged from him.
After all this, even after helping in emergencies, the doctor is still called a thief.
7. Name any other service sector where a service person gives you free service on your introduction?
I have seen many social workers protest against doctors, yet when they need medical advice too, they get it free from their doctor friends and acquaintances.
Liquor shop owners,
Contractors making bad roads,
Leaders and officials who embezzle crores in schemes,
Private school owners who take huge fees.
I have seen these people getting respect in this society.
People take selfies with them and post to gain respect, but how do you disrespect the doctor who is saving your life so blatantly?

What a strange society.
8.When a person damages their body with alcohol and tobacco and goes to a hospital or clinic, if something unfortunate happens, the relatives break the doctor’s hospital or clinic rather than the liquor or tobacco shops.
Not a single family member says their family member died because of the liquor shop owner or tobacco seller; instead, they say the doctor’s negligence killed them.
9.When a patient dies in the hospital after an accident caused by a bad road, the next day the newspapers don’t publish the news blaming the contractor who built the bad road; instead, they publish that “the patient died due to the doctor’s negligence.”
10.People so easily blame the doctor for killing the patient, as if doctors leave home planning to kill patients each day.

11. In a society where liquor shops, gambling dens, casinos, bars, and adulterated fast-food outlets run fearlessly, hospitals operate under the shadow of fear.
Who knows when which patient will make what accusation.
Because the patient who is cured does not make a video, but the one who suffers surely records and uploads videos claiming a certain doctor is a thief.
Remember, knowledge from a guru and medical treatment from a doctor cannot be forced or obtained through intimidation.
Societies that disrespect gurus and doctors wander confused in emergencies.
Doctors treat their patients without any discrimination of caste, religion, regionalism, politics, rich or poor, or language.
Yet in this society, doctors are accused of negligence.
Bridges collapse, train accidents happen, just recently a plane crashed killing hundreds, but there was no protest.
But if something unfortunate happens to a single patient, responsible citizens appear out of nowhere to break the hospital.

12.I was just watching the plane crash videos where people recorded the crash and charred bodies, only the doctors were not recording videos; instead, one doctor ran to cover a burning naked body with cloth.
Think about how sensitive the medical staff is, who clean the excreta and urine of the decomposed bodies that the relatives won’t even touch. This is their daily duty.
