Last weekend, “Në Kërkim të Poezisë” premiered with a special screening at Kinema Agimi, as part of Tirana Art Weekend, an evening of remembrance, emotion, and reflection.
Once almost forgotten and heavily damaged by the 2019 earthquake, #BashtovaCastle is coming back to life thanks to the #EuropeanUnion 🇪🇺 and the @eu4culture programme, implemented by @UNOPS.

📷We are happy to announce the completion of the restoration works at Bashtova Castle. Built in the 15th century, the castle has now been preserved through extensive interventions protecting its structure, revealing its hidden stories, and preparing it for sustainable use.
From the National Film Archive to the revitalised Kinostudio site, Albania’s cinematic heritage is being preserved and modernised with EU support.
Digitisation, restoration, and cultural investment are giving new life to old stories.

🇪🇺🇦🇱 We had a great time hosting DG ENEST and DG MENA #BlueBook trainees from across Europe,at the newly restored Kavaja Ethnographic Museum. This visit was an opportunity to present Albania’s rich cultural heritage, and a chance to introduce the museum to international visitors.

The Ethnographic Museum of Kavaja has reopened its doors following elaborate restoration and museum works conducted by the EU-funded #EU4Culture programme 🇪🇺, implemented by #UNOPS in partnership with Albania's Ministry of Economy, Culture.
Works in progress at Lezha Castle! #EU4Culture team is working to stabilise the severely damaged northern section of the castle's curtain wall. The first phase has already begun with archaeological test pits and excavations in the intervention area.
Another cultural heritage site damaged by the 2019 earthquake has been restored!
Today, the Hammam of #Durrës reopened its doors, offering visitors a chance to experience the rich history and cultural diversity of #Albania 🇦🇱.
Located near to the iconic Venetian Tower, the Hammam is one of the 15 cultural heritage sites which have been fully renovated through the #EU4Culture 🇪🇺 programme, while work ongoing at 8 additional sites.
Over 50 professionals gathered at a two-day symposium to discuss site management under the #EU4Culture programme.
Site managers, conservators, and caretakers explored governance, business models, and conservation improvements to enhance cultural heritage management.

Mentored by the photographer Armando Babani, the participants also had the opportunity to learn some techniques that better showcase the values of these sites, newly rehabilitated thanks to the EU support through the #EU4Culture 🇪🇺 programme, implemented by UNOPS.
