LAMA PAY — UPDATE 1.0.3
We’re rolling out our new 1.0.3 update over the next few hours.
During the upgrade some LAMA Pay systems and services may be temporarily unavailable while we deploy the new version across the platform.
No action is required from users. Services will come back online automatically as each part of the update is completed..
Later today, we’re launching the first phase of the LAMA Share System.
This is the next step in our plan to give the LAMA community direct participation in the company.
Eligible LAMA holders will be able to exchange a defined amount of LAMA for company shares through a fixed conversion mechanism.
For example:
100 LAMA = 1 company share
Once LAMA is submitted for the conversion, those tokens will be locked and the corresponding number of shares will be allocated to the holder.
This will not be a new token, NFT, or reward point. The goal is to connect eligible LAMA holdings directly to real company ownership, with every allocation recorded through the appropriate documentation and legal process.
The first stage will operate as an internal share allocation period.
For the first 30 days, allocated shares will remain inside the system and will not be publicly tradable.
After that 30-day period, we plan to begin the next phase, where eligible shareholders will be able to access a marketplace or transfer system and trade their shares for money, subject to all applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
The process will be simple:
Hold LAMA → convert eligible tokens → LAMA is locked → receive your share allocation → 30-day allocation period → trading phase opens
Later today, we will publish the final conversion ratio, eligibility requirements, documentation process, and full details of how the system will work.
LAMA is building something bigger than a token — a structure where the community can participate directly in the future of the company.
We’re planning to structure the company around a 50/50 ownership model.
50% of the company will remain with the founding/company side, while the other 50% will be allocated to LAMA holders.
For example, if the company has 10,000,000 total shares, then:
5,000,000 shares — 50% — will be reserved for LAMA holders.
The distribution will be proportional to each holder’s share of the eligible LAMA supply.
So if you hold 1% of the eligible LAMA supply, you would receive 1% of the 5,000,000 community shares = 50,000 shares.
If you hold 0.5%, that would equal 25,000 shares.
If you hold 0.1%, that would equal 5,000 shares.
The goal is simple: we don’t want the community to only hold a token we want the people who helped build and support LAMA from the beginning to have the opportunity to participate in the ownership of the company itself.
50% Company. 50% Community.
The final structure, eligibility rules, snapshot date, and distribution process will be announced once the legal and regulatory framework is completed.

A lot of people have messaged us saying they can’t use the Exchange inside the app yet.
The mobile Exchange has not been enabled before. We’re currently rolling out the update that will activate it, and it should be available within the next 2 hours.
In the meantime, you can use the Exchange through our website, where everything is working as expected.
Up to this point, we haven’t had a single unpaid transaction. Of course, we’ve had a few issues inside the app, which is completely normal when you’re building and scaling something new, but the core LAMA Pay system is working exactly as it was designed to. LAMA itself is built exclusively on Solana, and what we’re saying is that we haven’t seen another project offering this same kind of complete payment system — not on Solana, not on BNB Chain, not on Ethereum, and not on the other major blockchains.
We didn’t want to create another token that only lives on a chart. We wanted to build a real product with real utility, real payments, and a real business behind it. If we’re going to build a token, we want to build something people can actually use and something that has real value behind it.
