An ex-project lead of PUNT, a Portal inspired-game, has shared a statement regarding the status of the game and anyone involved.

"Valve killed Punt in 2023. Missed our agreed release window and then demanded more money. Ghosted when we tried to negotiate."

@Endzs80 Agree, just a little joke with Windows. It's great Valve letting users handle their own hardware as they wish providing all the necessary drivers and some documentation.

If you're crazy enough, you can install Windows in your Steam Machine.

Valve has uploaded all the necessary drivers in case you make the switch from SteamOS to Windows and warns that they are "unable to offer Windows on Steam Hardware support".
