THEY ARE BASTARDS!

We just got an email sent to MSE. The spelling was awful, and it was quite tough to understand. Lower down, the writer later explained she was 78 and her disability had stopped her being able to spell. So perhaps it is a stroke, or something similar.

I've tidied it and summarised below, changing some identifying details. In a nutshell, it was this...

"I invested, Martin, with Quotum when you first announced it on TV. What an opportunity for me to buy my own flat. My manager there passed me through to a nice man who asked me for £350 more. He showed me it was growing. I did what he told me to do."

She then goes on to explain how she really wanted her flat and she gave more and more money. And she has nothing left to help with her disability.

I'm honestly in tears typing this. These types of scam ads have now been going on for a decade. I have spent my career trying to help people with their finances. It feels visceral to get this, and to feel that this reputation has been perverted by criminals to steal from someone who is clearly so vulnerable leaves me feeling nauseous.

So many people, both vulnerable and not, lose money and see their lives and wellbeing destroyed. It's now seven years since I sued Facebook. And yet still nothing is being done.

Big tech makes £3bn a year from these scammers. We have a law in place to make them responsible for these ads they're paid to publish, yet it isn't implemented. How many more of these do I have to receive - and far worse, how many more people have to go through this?

This is relentless. It is wrong. Government has to take action! I wrote to the PM just two weeks ago on this very issue. I've not heard back yet.

(We are, of course, going to try and point her in the right direction to get help, but that will be stressful for her too)

Save the World's XP rates will be changing when C7S3 releases later this week.

Cap hasn't changed for a while, but the XP per mission usually changes every season.

If I'm honest did I think I'd really be tucking Rocky into bed looking this cozy for his fourth night with us? I really didn't.

How do I see the Power Level 160 Missions and the Weekly Quest?

To unlock 160s and the Weekly Quest you need to:
- Finish the Canny Valley Questline
- Complete all 10 Twine Peaks Storm Shield Defenses
- Be Power Level 124 or higher

NOTE: Deliver the Bomb DOES NOT COUNT for the Weekly Quest

@archer_fortnite Given this change I’m excited for what the possibilities could be and the future road map for STW. My only concern is that they don’t over engineer something that puts those of us on older PC graphics cards or processors at risk of not being able to play the game.

@JoellJoelly For me missions keep defaulting to fill rather than no-fill. Doesn’t matter what I do, I may be missing something but as a primarily solo player it’s annoying.

Save the World missions can sometimes have Mini-Bosses that spawn in towards the end of the defense, these Mini-Bosses will have a combination of different Modifiers!

- Elemental 🔥💧⚡
- The Mini-Boss will have an element
- Acid Pools🧪
- The Mini-Boss will leave Acid Pools that damage the player when they stand in them
- Berserker😡
- The Mini-Boss will get stronger and faster at below 50% health
- Building Blocker🚫
- The Mini-Boss will create trails of tendrils that prevent you from building
- Corrosive🟢
- The Mini-Boss will apply corrosion to builds that makes them take more damage from enemies
- Damage Pulse💥
- The Mini-Boss has a pulsing ring of damage that hurts players and builds
- Frenzied🏃
- The Mini-Boss has increased movement speed
- Healer❤️‍🩹
- The Mini-Boss will heal nearby enemies and itself
- ⚠️Ricochet🔁
- The Mini-Boss will reflect damage from Ranged Weapons, use Melee Weapons on these
- Slowing Pools🐢
- The Mini-Boss will leave trails of slowing goop, that slow the player.
- Shield Breaker⚔️
- The Mini-Boss can 1 hit the players shield

- The Mini-Boss has life-leech, healing itself upon hitting a player

- The Mini-Boss has a spinning split shield that reduces incoming damage

Welcome all the new Commanders to Save the World! ⛏️🌩️

Save the World has seasons just like BR does, but STW's seasons are on a rotation with a different season rotating in every 2.5-3 months!

Save the World has 5 different seasons that each bring their own rewards, Ventures Zone, and event mode!

Save the World has 2 different "Storm Types"; Mutant and Mini-Boss. During Mutant Seasons almost every mission with an Alert Reward will be the same Element Type, while during Mini-Boss seasons almost every mission with an Alert will have a Mini-Boss and increased chances for higher tier rewards (Like V-Bucks/X-Ray Tickets) [V-Bucks are only available for Founders]

🍁Flannel Falls (Mini-Boss) runs from mid-January to early-April. Flannel Falls brings with it the Lunar Llamas which contain the Chinese New Year Heroes and Schematics! This season also has Dungeons as it's event mode, a fast pace dungeon crawling mission where you are encouraged to go as fast as you can!

🏴‍☠️Scurvy Shoals (Nature Mutant) runs from early-April to mid-June. Scurvy Shoals brings with it the Pirate Llamas which contain the Pirate Heroes and Schematics! This season also has Survive the Horde as it's event mode, a wave-based survival mode where you defend 3 objectives for 15 waves while only using resources from Supply Drops between each wave!

🌵Blasted Badlands (Fire Mutant) runs from mid-June to early-September. Blasted Badlands brings with it the Rad Llamas which contain the Rad Heroes and Schematics! This season also has Hit the Road as it's event mode, a payload based mission where you escort a truck to a radio tower while making pit-stops throughout the mission ending in 1 final defense at the radio tower! Blasted Badlands also includes the yearly Birthday Event where you can earn Birthday Llamas that can give you a chance to get a copy of almost any item in the game! (Birthday Llamas do not include Starter Pack Heroes or Schematics)

🎃Hexsylvania (Mini-Boss) runs from early-September to mid-November. Hexsylvania brings with it the Fortnitemares Llamas which contain the Black Metal Schematics, Fortnitemares Heroes, and Costume Party Survivors! This season also has Dungeons as it's event mode, a fast pace dungeon crawling mission where you are encouraged to go as fast as you can!

🎄Frozen Fjords (Water Mutant) runs from mid-November to mid-January. Frozen Fjords brings with it the Holiday Llamas which contain the Holiday Heroes and Schematics. This season also has Frostnite as it's event mode, a wave based mission where you defend a BluGlo Burner for 20 waves while gathering resources from the map to build defenses!
