From Year 4
I am so proud of the players because they tried their hardest. They may not have won but it's good to try your best and to look back and see what you have achieved and the fun you have had.
From Year 4
I'm proud of England because even if they didn't win they shouldn't beat themselves up about it because they tried their best and that's the main thing and that's all that matters :)
From Year 4
I am really proud of the whole England team! The players should not be abused or bullied online and we should all respect each other no matter what colour our skin is! I think the team played really well and I am happy they got so far. Well done, England! ππ»
From Year 4
I am so proud of all you England players.
It takes courage to take a penalty and get to 2nd place. You tried your best. The England team have entertained us and given us happy times. Me and my family are true England fans, like millions of others. We love you. πππ»
From Year 4
Well done, England. We are proud of you! It takes a lot of courage to take a penalty and you tried your best. You did your best, and we should just be happy that you got us into the finals.
Bring on the World Cup! Woo hoo!
... well. England, just because you didn't win doesn't mean you didn't try your best and it was very close. Oh and remember, you still have the World Cup next year! :)
From Year 4
The England team shouldn't make themselves feel bad about not winning and not feeling good enough. They tried their best and were very good throughout the game. Lots of people, like me, are not football fans but I enjoyed watching England play because they did so ...
... that's what happens every once in a while. You can't always win but England tried their hardest and got through 90 minutes, extra time AND penalties so it doesn't matter that they didn't win. :) Well done for getting this far, England!
From Year 4
The England team did really well and I think even if they didn't win they still tried their best and they got to the finals and that's all that matters. Even if they did miss some penalties Gareth Southgate knows how it feels and they shouldn't be upset because ...
From Year 4
I think England football players did really well on Sunday, and @BukayoSaka87 should not have been sad because he missed the penalty and should not deal with racism at 19 years old.
Well done Gareth Southgate and the England squad. Good job. :) :) :)
From Year 2
Hi, England football team. I did not like football until I watched you play and now I am joining a football club to help me play like you and hopefully play for England one day.
From Year 2
I was so excited when you went into the finals. I think you played very well and I was really proud of you because even though you didnβt win you tried your best and that is all that matters. Thank you.
From Year 1
Well done, England. You bought the country together in a time of need. Well done for getting so far in the Euros.
England, we are so proud of you! You are winners to me.
From Year 6
