@CrazyMuseumMum Yes! We had stockings in the morning to keep us occupied, possibly one small present but otherwise waited for main presents until after lunch. My partners family were the same, but everyone else I know always did it first thing in the morning.

@Tess_Machling@PoppyTeaches We did something like this when I was a family and schools learning volunteer at Museum of London Archaeology! Mostly pennies etc, but the thing they were most excited for was a crisp packet from the 80's, which they carefully cleaned and recorded. Great fun.
