lots of eyes on ordinals today, i wonder why

over 60 btc in volume in ordinals which is way more than any other jpeg ecosystem

if you’re staring at the price action but Taproot Wizards are out of your price range, here are some other awesome ordinals:

Bitcoin Puppets: i’m a big believer that bitcoin and ordinals are best fitted for high ticket price items, but puppets proved you can start with a very cheap (virtually free) mint and end up with a high-value cultural item with crazy brand recognition. puppets holders are some of the craziest mfers out there, and the art is just fun

Nodemonkes: early inscription numbers, mysterious and controversial founder, original pixel art, massive mint, and just enough fud to enter the history books. the nodes probably onboarded more people to ordinals than any other collection. i don’t think ordinals can have a future without them

OMB: can you think of another collection with 9,000 pieces that are all 1 of 1 hand drawn? OMB is special and there just isn’t anything else like it. recently the community celebrated a big win with a big mint that went fantastic against all trolls, and many consider OMB to be the face of ordinals

Fine art: ordinals on bitcoin are immortalized onchain and are a great fit for high end fine art. one of my favorites in this category is “The Astronomer’s Daughter” by @POSTWOOK but tbh there are many others, and we plan to work with more artists to bring their work to ordinals. it’s the most natural place to put your high-end art vault in, and there’s tons of works on bitcoin that are really special

also: i’m biased but one of my favorite collections is Quantum Cats, obviously, but that’s a story for another day :)
