@CC_EssexHerts Radford Way in Billericay is closed for 11 weeks from 16 May. This will seriously affect your number 12 service (Wickford - Billericay Qeens Park). Are you able to share your diversionary routes please as there are elderly folk use the western end.
@RD272 @FirstEssex The new timetables have been available for over week on https://t.co/AKGDMMISab and I believe that operation of the 3 may be transferred back to HH.
@FirstEssex @JulieGeorg94687 There are no staff at First Essex bus stations. Drivers are usually on their breaks or waiting for their own buses to come in so have no idea about other buses especially if operated from different garages.
@annejoh @FirstEssex The reason is that both routes are split in half at Chelmsford,so the x10 changes into an x10 registered Basildon to chelmsford as does the x30 to Southend. It gets around EU drivers regs &other stuff by effectively making it 2 routes sharing a number.
@ngairevintage @FirstEssex Thynne Road is shut until 7th March for roadworks so buses cannot serve Outwood Common until it reopens just go up and down Greens Farm Lane in both directions.
@bususer1958@laura_flora3112 @FirstEssex She is capable of answering for herself without your unwarranted assumptions. You are clearly fixated on moaning and sticking in your oar where it is not needed. I have read your constant repetitive uninformed comments & of rejection any replies that do not suit your agenda.
@bususer1958@laura_flora3112 @FirstEssex They don't drive, they answer operational queries. Computers only take into the legalities, they never need a comfort break,in any case they don't know where there are facilities freely available and at what times. Also buses can get heavily delayed which would wipe out the break.
@bususer1958@laura_flora3112 @FirstEssex Am there,do that and wear the T-shirt. Under UK domestic driving regsthe law says a max of 5.5 hours can be driven before a statuary break,so First do comply. Bear also in mind that public facilities are few and far between, fortunately Morrisons is close by in Grays.
@bususer1958@laura_flora3112 @FirstEssex No,in all probability having driven to Brentwood and back as a 9 and then as a 200 to Grays, they might, just might want a comfort break! You try driving for nearly 4 hours without a pee and knowing it's another hour or so until you next chance.
@CraigButton14 @FirstEssex Another option is the 565 run by NIBS at 1740 and 1845 which runs straight down Ingrave Road with stops near Orchard Avenue and the bottom of Running Waters.
@bususer1958 @FirstEssex Perhaps they threw up,or worse, and therefore the bus had to be taken out of service. Hospitals don't clear up other peoples mess as a rule unfortunately.
@M4MTA @FirstEssex Did it not occur to anybody on board to help the driver, especially as he admitted he was lost! @bususer 1958 is quick to criticise but in reality it is harder to learn rural routes if you are not local to the area.
@laura_flora3112 @FirstEssex It may be that the driver needed a "comfort break" and nearby Morrisons offer such a facility. Now the 9 morphs into a 200 with a 1 minute difference at Bax bus stn the driver is probably in dire need.
@claire61465403 @FirstEssex But you asked for,and received a ticket to Jones corner so I don't understand your insistance that the destination was incorrect.
