The moment Ab Ar gets together, the story line cant engage me for 2 mins. Initially, their over the top, non-sense separation was a pure rage bait. I wanted a big reveal, Vid falling on Ab's feet and Ab finally just walking away. Thats it. Ik it wasn't going to happen. #Yrkkh

For me, this was Armaan saying "Now, we are even! Hisab barabar!"

Through his formative years, this demon made him believe that his position in that house depended on HER acceptance. She made him believe that he is an outsider that SHE brought into the Poddar House even though he is Madhav's own son. Madhav was devastated by Shivani's apparent death and not in a state of mind to be there for his son. By the time he woke up from his slumber, Armaan had deep seated emotional trauma from what his so called mother and family had done to him that he was not in a position to listen to Madhav by then. All his life, this demon Avidya has held that over his head and Armaan has lived indebted to this woman for apparently making a space for him in his own biological father's house. Truth is that Avidya was using him as a pawn to secure her own place in that house because she knew Madhav had not fully accepted her but she's Kaveri's prodigy after all and made Armaan believe he needed Avidya's love to be part of this family. He believed it so much that when Avidya cursed the girl who sacrificed her marriage to save Avidya's that she will never be happy, Armaan was not upset by Avidya's vile behaviour, Armaan was shaken by her rejection of him. Because for him, that meant he no longer has a place in this family---if he has no place, how can his bride have a place?? This complex web of issues that has complicated all his relationships stem from one woman and her manipulation----Avidya.

For me, making Armaan bring her back into the house was a poignant moment for him in the story because of how his arc was written; because of how this character was abused in the story by Avidya; because of how this bish continued to use her control over Armaan to hurt him and destroy his life. For me, this was Armaan saying "This is my closure" and choosing to take a step towards healing. The one constant we (and I mean those of us who discuss the story so those of you who are only interested in fawning, please find profiles and posts who do that because there is no point going to a book club expecting a fan girl convention) have always kept reiterating is that we need to see Armaan healing in this story and being allowed to move past that abuse to live his life. Because until and unless he is allowed to heal, he will never be happy because that trauma will always overshadow his happiness---and this bish will come and crowd what little space left in his mind with her poison! I could be wrong about this because you all know how DKP loves to play with Armaan's character like they hate him. But I really hope this was them allowing this character to take that first step in properly healing. And I feel like Abhira stopped Kaveri from intervening for the same reason---because she also knew this was necessary for Armaan to settle the scores so that Avidya can no longer hold Armaan's neck in the emotional guillotine just waiting for an opportunity to drop that blade on him should he ever do something to upset her.

Yes I know---In this leap, it was Abhira who suffered the most and this bish made it all about HER instead. And then she has the audacity to say "I will never forgive Abhira!!!" It's like Maxwell saying "I will never forgive Virginia!" (IYKYK! Ok here's an easier one---it's like Ravan saying "I will NEVER forgive Seeta ma!" but Ravan would be insulted by the comparison...)

Abhira suffered for 8 years without her child... In the 7 years that Abhira spent without Armaan and Maira, Avidya and Kaveri saw first hand how Abhira suffered. She couldn't even sleep... Avidya knows very well how Abhira became a shell of herself without Armaan and Maira and she intentionally twisted things and lied through her teeth to keep Armaan and Maira away from Abhira. And this woman didn't just keep her away from her child physically; she exploited everyone and every situation and lied through her teeth to expunge Abhira's memory from her own family. And I guess that's why Kaveri thinks she's better than Avidya because while she was being evil to Shivani and destroying her life, she didn't malign Shivani's memory for Madhav and Armaan. I know I know that's not an excuse because what they did to Shivani is beyond deplorable but I'm saying I can see why Kaveri would think she and Avidya are not the same. Especially because she made judgements about Shivani based on her social status---she didn't get to know Shivani or use Shivani's help to survive and then turn around to stab her in the back and then complain that Shivani's back chipped her knife!!

What I'm saying is that I strongly feel Abhira's quiet observation during the whole fiasco means her own confrontation with Avidya is still pending! I'm sure they will make Avidya be nasty to her and show her truly vile colours for everyone to see how evil this woman is and Abhira would be quiet. I think DKP will get on our nerves and make us also call Abhira weak and what not and THEN they will make Abhira snap. Build up and all you know? And when she snaps, she will release everything she has been holding in since finding out what Avidya did. The pain she has been living with for 8 years will come out.

Because think about it---should she worry about this demon or take care of her child who is drowning in guilt??? Maira just came out of a remand home, witnessed a woman she had loved die in front of her (regardless of how vile Psycho Zeher is, Maira did love her and she's bound to be feeling disillusioned and confused about how she should feel) and thought her life would be spent in jail. I totally understand why Abhira wanted to wait and give at least one day for Maira to recover before she confronted Avidya but itna akal Avidya mein kahan! Aatehi, entrance pe hi shuru hogayi dasna aur apna evilpan dikhana! So Madhav exposed her instead. As a father, Madhav has not been there for Armaan---But I'm glad that he took a stand for Abhira AND Armaan this time because Avidya was making Armaan AND Maira miserable and blaming Abhira for it.

And I absolutely do not mind having Avidya in the story as the vamp---she was anyway a hyena pretending to be a sheep and her fake love for Armaan always grated on my nerves. It's good to have her being out and out evil now to create conflict in the story without pitting Armaan and Abhira against each other. And for that she needs to be in the same house also na so there's that too!! Let's see what happens...

The way Vid-Ar's mistrust/misunderstanding is potrayed, the constant rhyme of Ar's life being destroyed by Vid, wt abt Ab? She is such a trodden over character that she herself was standing quiet, not saying anything to V, and now no one acknowledges that she suffered more?#yrkkh

Meaning Armaan himself would not survive what he made Abhira live through for 7 years but ABHIRA should have considered Armaan's feelings... In the second leap, while it was Avidya's evil that separated them, he also pushed Abhira away and told Abhira that her presence upsets their child and to stay away without once considering how Abhira would be feeling but sure Abhira should consider how Armaan would feel for 2 seconds, 2 seconds after her child finally showed a little love to her after 8 years. Armaan in the story sees that and was willing to let Abhira have time with their child which is why he told Maira to go with her mother... Also because he knew it was the right thing. But this audience sees no end to their hate for Abhira...
