2nd Grade Science in Action!
Students became sound detectives, testing how vibrations move through solids, liquids, and gases. Their conclusion? Sound really does travel through more than air!
Second graders turned into real-life inventors as they engineered sound detectors that made salt bounce and dance! They loved seeing how sound waves create vibrations we can see!
Paper Airplane Science!
Students in Mrs. Perez's second grade class had fun exploring how a push can cause paper airplanes to fly and that they may change shape when they touch or collide with the ground.#HandsOnLearning
Third graders fully engaged in targeted small group math interventions, using place value disks to strengthen number sense and problem-solving skills. #Zeila_ Wittke # THE DISTRICT #@YISD
