Friends are lifesaver! Students and teachers enjoyed twinning. Penny Wars is going strong! Raised over $100 for Batten's so far. As of Wednesday 6th grade was in the led. #wawmproud

Day 3 of Hope Week. A mid week self-care break was what everyone needed. Wednesday was pajama day and yoga during lunch. Everyone tried something new and had a great time trying new yoga poses. Some even asked to do it again this week. #wawmproud
t is that time of the year again, the annual Battens basketball tournament here at Lane.
Year 6. The tourney is fundraiser/all school event and we raise money for Battens research. It started with a Genius Hour project in Ustruck's class, and continues each year. #wawmproud
On a second day of Hope week we wore yellow because yellow is the color of hope and happiness. Hope Squad also continued their penny wars and had students guess how many yellow jelly beans were in the jar! #wawmproud
Hope Squad Week. What is Hope Squad? Hope Squad is a peer-to-peer suicide prevention program. Members are nominated by their classmates as trustworthy peers and trained by advisors. The program reduces youth suicide through education, training, and peer intervention. #wawmproud
