hilarious that we went from “never give out any real information about yourself on the internet” to “a handful of companies we know for a fact to be truly evil are going to require your govt name, DOB, and address for you to go online and it’s impossible to live an offline life”
🚨⚠️YOUR PRIVACY IS AT RISK
Japan Just Sold Your Privacy to AI Companies Worldwide
April 7: PM Takaichi’s cabinet approved the law change.
Your medical history, criminal records, race, beliefs — now sharable ⚠️without consent⚠️ for AI training.
What this means for YOU:
If you ever used a Japanese app or a service, your private data is also sold to AI companies without your consent (even from trips, apps, or public records)
This is clearly unconstitutional, but PM takaichi justifies it as "necessary for winning the AI race".
What a piece of shit. Zero respect for privacy. What an awful administration.
HOW IS THIS ALLOWED❓
RESISTERE!!!!
Parents decided when they bought the device for the child.
Parents decided when they did or did not engage with existing tools.
Government demands arent going to change these things.
A lazy parent is just going to “verify” regardless. And a good parent is already protecting their child.
This is evil.
Yeah I agree that parents should decide!
…as in, they should decide to not buy tech for their kids. Or decide to regulate tech via parent controls. Or decide to teach kids internet safety. Or decide to block websites.
Oppose the “Parents Decide Act”. They literally already do.
