• When you DO come, you do your own thing
• You laugh at your teammates, and think you’re better than them
• You don’t take coaching

Basketball officials - The season is near, and the next step in our progression is to attend a Series I Area Meeting.
Area meetings are required to be post-season eligible, but being a "requirement" isn't the only reason why officials should attend.
These meetings were developed - and each is intentionally designed - to achieve a more uniform application, understanding, and interpretation of the rules and mechanics of officiating that apply to basketball.
Additionally, they provide a forum for discussion and review of unusual situations that occur during the season and motivate and challenge officials to do the best job possible. The most impactful and beneficial aspect of these meetings is the opportunity to learn from others'
