2. She should have took Frank's bullet, that would have been the consequence for her crimes.

@khaliltooshort Did they really need to have Max, I mean JG pull an Eleven keep Peter alive after he stepped in the way to take Frank's bullet aimed at her?
He is Spider-Man, he's suppose to have super strength and could have healed from that bullet wound on his own.

@David_Da_Boss Jean Grey was more like alcohol or a roofie here that MJ was made to consume against her own will. So she was not herself in this moment Peter Parker, instead she was under the devil's influence. Devil = evil. Jean Grey was evil in this movie.

But replace them two out with the Tate Brothers sitting in the park telepathically controlling people against their will, there would be an uproar

People are misunderstanding what happened. Jean was abusing MJ like one might abuse a bottle of Chardonnay. It was to the point that MJ was not herself with Peter.
Essentially Jean Grey was acting as the whine (or roofie) MJ consumed against her will.
