I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
.@USAttyEssayli, @HSILosAngeles Special Agent in Charge (SAC) Eddy Wang, @LAPDPoliceChief Jim McDonnell, and @IRS_CI SAC Darren Lian announced the arrest of 10 alleged sex traffickers who operate on L.A.’s notorious Figueroa Corridor.
BREAKING: Team USA is moving on.
The United States defeated Bosnia and Herzegovina 2-0 to advance to the World Cup Round of 16 despite playing much of the match with 10 men.
The turning point came when striker Folarin Balogun received a controversial red card after stepping on an opposing player's leg while challenging for the ball, sparking immediate debate over the referee's decision.
The Americans held on to secure the victory and keep their World Cup run alive — but they'll have to play without Balogun in the Round of 16.
World Cup soccer fans wave a Mexican flag on top of an ambulance and celebrate like they are in Los Angeles, until San Jose police quickly remind them that it’s not Los Angeles.
We’re conducting a large operation this morning with @HSILosAngeles and @LAPDHQ targeting human trafficking in the Figueroa corridor, where girls as young as 14 are being sold for sex.
More details to come at our 9:30 a.m. press conference.
This morning, @HSILosAngeles, @IRS_CI, and @LAPDHQ arrested nine defendants—including gang members and the manager of the Stadium Inn & Spas in South L.A.—in a major operation targeting sex trafficking along the Figueroa Corridor. One defendant was arrested on Monday.
These defendants have been indicted by a federal grand jury and face mandatory federal prison sentences, some potentially up to life in prison.
The arrests mark a significant step in dismantling a criminal network that exploits vulnerable children and young adults. Four federal indictments charge these defendants, most of them members or associates of the Hoover Criminal Gang, with controlling sex trafficking in the area for years using intimidation and violence.
The manager of the Stadium Inn & Spas is charged with profiting from the sex trafficking operation and attempting to disguise his illicit proceeds.
Figueroa Corridor residents have endured this horrific criminal behavior for far too long. This law enforcement operation is one step toward breaking the culture of criminality and perversion that has festered in the community. We will continue working with LAPD to locate and charge more traffickers.

We saw the unspeakable on Skid Row in Los Angeles:
Helpless dogs being bred and sold for drugs—chained up for weeks in miserable conditions.
SHAME on Newsom, Becerra, Bass and the useless politicians who've allowed this to continue! We must defeat them in November.
TODAY: The highest gas tax in the country gets even higher!
61.2¢ → 63.4¢ per gallon
Xavier Becerra loves to blame "Trump" and the Iran War, but his Sacramento machine is DIRECTLY increasing prices.
I’ll cut the gas tax and unleash California production to deliver $3.00 gas.

🐶 Hero Border Collie Tsunami saves nearly 100 lives after Venezuela earthquake
The 9-year-old rescue dog discovered dozens of survivors trapped under the rubble.
This will be his final mission — after this, Tsunami is retiring.
Once saved from starvation himself, he became one of the best search-and-rescue dogs, working at disaster sites in Venezuela, Turkey, and Syria.
Absolute legend. ❤️
