Hi Twitter friends, I just wanted to let those who follow me as a School Outreach Specialist for KET, that I am retiring (yes again) as of March 31. It has been wonderful working for so long at such a great PBS affiliate. I wish all of my education friends much luck!
Today I got to catch up with @SuperChef_23
Not only does he have a brand new show on the @FoodNetwork … it was just renewed for a 2nd season!
Watch my interview on #KYEdition tonight @KET and find out where you can get his food this Derby weekend 👀

Sadly due to the large number of mass shootings in the U.S., this kind of mis and disinformation is happening a lot. Do your homework and verify using the tips seen here before sharing that content.
When news broke about the #NashvilleCovenantSchool shooting — #misinformation followed. Like previous mass shootings, social posts spread falsehoods about the shooter's identity, motives and victims. Here's why you should pause before sharing when news breaks:

Linda Blackford: Glass said he’s just ‘doing the right thing’ in speaking out against anti-LGBTQ efforts by the Kentucky Legislature. Why aren’t more business and education leaders in KY doing the same? https://t.co/VtoUlHzGRl
Everyone needs to watch this!!! Grace Linn, you are my hero! Thank you for your powerful voice, your bravery, and showing up with your truth! #Freadom#FinallySeen#StopBanningBooks
I urge you to support KY students’ right to read by asking Governor Beshear to VETO SB 5. School districts already have reconsideration policies in place that need to be followed. KY school librarians are certified teachers who develop our collections. https://t.co/NFSQPViPBn

I love and so relate to this story! I recently turned an old artillery shell into a "Peace Gong" for my garden and named it "Plowshares" referring of course to "beating our swords into plowshares".
Students from Kensington High School in Philadelphia produced this story on turning guns into garden tools. [via @whyy Media Labs]
