Wow. The Government has officially admitted to me that through the 'Government Communication Service' it 'collects, stores, and processes data from public social media posts.'

Why? 'to address potential mis/disinformation.'

They are using AI for 'information environment analysis'.

Posts about migration are included as part of 'wider thematic reporting'.

They 'share aggregate social media analysis with partner governments'. Strange, isn't it? Why would that be needed?

Your rights.

You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data, you have the right to request information about how your personal data are processed, and to request a copy of that personal data, you have the right to request that your personal data are erased if there is no longer a justification for them to be processed, you have the right in certain circumstances (for example, where accuracy is contested) to request that the processing of your personal data is restricted.
