I think through the next couple of years, there will be a bunch of anime projects for various mobile game IPs. There will be more work for the industry, but they also have pretty restrictive contracts, such as being uncredited and being unable to claim credit on your own work.

I remember animating on a Chinese thing a while ago, but for some reason the production assistant would never give us the model sheets/settei, and we had to use previous episodes and media of the IP to use as model sheets... Anyone else have experience working with the Chinese?

Dondon Tech is a company founded by me, my friend and researcher Shu Cheng, with Crunchyroll founder Kun Gao involved as our business advisor.

We want to create tools to help animators speed up the inbetweening and cel painting process by automating parts of it among others.

In an industry where a douga animator is paid a set amount per drawing, I hope that this can also help with their workload and directly increase their take-home.
