Mom, Grandma, animal rescuer, awakened soul. Proud mother of a Navy man, sister to a marine brother (RIP) and an army brother (RIP), & daughter of a WW11 vet!
@RaminNasibov@space_treasure8 Seeing stuff like this visually drives me crazy. I am the crazy chick in the doctors offices fixing all the pictures, lol
@Trustintrump47@ConnorT39755535 Finally! I was hoping the good people would unite to make noise in SUPPORT of our country, to show how small these crazy "far lefties" really are. Bet the MSM won't cover them like the protesters though. Mskes my blood boil
@SlimWiggy@MynardPamela In my small north Idaho town, we just had an orthopedic surgeon sentenced to 40 years in prison for this same thing! He did my shoulder surgery too! He has cameras set in all the office bathrooms, along with other pervy stuff
@Sassafrass_84@djbassmonkey YES!!!! 10-15 times a day! I block every # but there seems to be an endless supply of #'s they use. Wanting to loan me from 30-70,000! Lol. I live on my disability check alone. I keep thinking, you can send it to me but there's no way you're getting it back! 😅
@TheRealDeal_Gal@Crazymoments01 Oh my heart 💔 That had to just break you. These wonderful, intelligent, loving creatures we call our pets, have such a spiritual connectedness about them. We are blessed to share this life with them! 🐾
🚨 UPDATE: Mayor Zohran Mamdani is getting EATEN ALIVE for calling on New Yorkers to surge their thermostat up to 78 degrees because the city is having a hard time keeping up with energy needs
"Spencer Pratt...COMMUNISM always goes the same way. First they promised you the world, free this, free that, abundance for all. How? Don't ask. And they get into power and the rationing begins — first a smiley ask, then a demand, then a bullet. You use too much energy, comrade!"
Never gonna happen!
@RealAbs1776@RamboAndFrens My heart breaks for him, to know your own mother is doing this to him, and she has no regard for Owen's health or safety. I pray this judge will have his heart touched and his eyes opened, and that Owen is allowed to speak for himself! 💞
I was 20. He was 53. He had two or three bronze stars. I don’t remember. A moment of clarity emerged from the chemo. In 10 days he’d be in Arlington.
I said Dad knowing all you know now. The loss of friends. The loss to the nation. The loss of innocence. Years of painful chemo from Agent Orange. The loss to your family. Me just 20. My brother just 8. All the pain Vietnam caused. If you went back would you fight again?
Dad lowered his piercing blue eyes as his massive Ivy league intellect rolled into gear. Then he said one word. Yes. And closed his eyes for a moment.
I didn’t ask why. I knew why. The why was the devastation. The why was the millions killed by communists in Vietnam and Cambodia once America lowered its guard and walked away.
He hated LBJ and Westmoreland and McNamara and the whiz kids and the hippies who spat on him but loved the mission itself. The defeat of communism. Not because of its ideals and decay and chaos and godlessness but because of the murder and starvation and pain and suffering that communist rationalize.
Communism has killed tens of millions. Full stop. It’s the deadliest human experiment ever. Full stop. An experiment that’s useless because we know how utterly ends. Full stop.
I didn’t need to ask him why.
He told me before that he went to Vietnam because Konrad’s fight evil that’s what we do. That’s what WE do.
I often wish he hadn’t. But. I. I am glad he did. Without that choice he wouldn’t be the same man. He wouldn’t be dad.
Dad’s anger raged at time over American policy and the atrocities we are so very guilty of. Agent Orange. Bombing Cambodia. Feckless policies that lost us the war and cost lives both American and Vietnamese. But. He believed. And so do I. That an imperfect America, his America, fights against evil.
He. Not a warrior in Vietnam but a medic. A medic who, at times, killed. A medic who more often saved.
He, my dad, died proud. He died without question.
Communism is at our doorstep once again. Once again the whiz kids, his fellow Ivy League alumnus, are telling us to go slow, pull punches, dial down rhetoric. Play nice with China they say. Mamdani is just a socialist they tell us. The UK will be fine they say. Voices begging us to give in and play nice.
Dad would not give in. He would fight. Fight for those who are poor and hungry or will be when a red wave smothers the world. Fight.
He would fight because the Communist experiment is not new. He knew, we know, how it will end.
I love you dad. LOVE is worth the fight.
Post Script - The people yelling for peace are not bad. The socialist ideals are not bad. The left learning communists in our institutions are not bad. Dad love them all. He loved America. But love should not be blind.
He loved America but knew that America IS dangerous. America is lethal. America drops nuclear bombs. America sprays agent orange. America destroys nations like Iraq and gives up too soon letting ISIS, the Khmer Rouge, the Taliban win. America swings too far right into McCarthy when threatened. America always makes grave mistakes.
Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto's knew to. He warned Japan not to wake the sleeping giant. He was right.
America is dangerous. But Communism is deadly evil. Mass murder on epic scale dealdy. Do not confuse the two.
I say this because we are at a turning point. We can fight Communism now. We can defend the constitution from enemies foreign and domestic now. We must fight now because if Communism takes over the sleeping giant will wake. Both sides will lose when the giant awakes.
The protests and far left communists in our streets want us to think they are not dangerous. They are. China wants to believe if a war breaks out they can win. They cannot.
We have a choice :
1) stand strong now, deter the evil, and stem the tide that’s dragging us far left
2) give communism room to murder and deceive
3) wait until men like dad, the sleep giants, wake.
Only one of the choices saves lives.
Before the weekend ends and America moves on to the next headline, we need to pause and look at a story that matters more than almost any other—the collapse of Venezuela, and what it warns us about if the last democratic superpower ever falls the same way.
This didn’t happen overnight. It happened step by step, over one generation.
VENEZUELA: HOW A PROSPEROUS NATION COLLAPSED
1992
Venezuela is the 3rd richest country in the Western Hemisphere, powered by oil and a growing middle class.
1997
Venezuelans become the 2nd largest buyers of Ford F-150s—a sign of widespread prosperity.
1998
Hugo Chávez is elected, promising to “redistribute wealth” and fix inequality.
2001
The country votes again for socialism, framed as compassion and fairness.
2003
The government imposes price controls and currency controls.
Black markets appear. Shortages begin.
2004
Private healthcare is fully socialized.
2006
Inflation rises sharply as massive welfare programs expand without real economic backing.
2007
All higher education becomes “free.”
2008
Key industries—oil services, steel, cement, telecom—are nationalized.
Production drops almost immediately.
2009
Private gun ownership is banned.
2010
The currency is devalued by 50%, crushing savings and accelerating inflation.
2011
Oil production begins a steady decline due to mismanagement and lack of investment.
2012
American politicians, like Bernie Sanders, publicly praise Venezuela’s model.
2013
Chávez dies. Nicolás Maduro takes power and tightens state control.
2014
Opposition leaders are arrested or silenced.
2015
GDP collapses. Hyperinflation begins.
2016
Severe food and medical shortages spread nationwide.
2017
The constitution is suspended. Elections are no longer meaningful.
2018
Inflation exceeds 1,000,000%. Maduro “wins” a widely fraudulent election.
2019
Unarmed civilians are killed by their own government.
2020
More than 8 million people flee the country to escape hunger and repression.
2023
Minor economic improvements fail to relieve mass poverty.
2024
Disputed elections trigger protests and global isolation.
2026
Maduro is removed by force. Venezuela is liberated after decades of ruin.
THE HARD TRUTH
It took one generation of “progressive” leadership to turn one of the richest countries on Earth into a nation defined by hunger, fear, mass graves, and mass migration.
This is the lesson history keeps teaching:
You can vote your way into socialism.
But history shows people only escape it through collapse, violence, or foreign intervention.
And here is the part Americans must understand clearly:
If this happens in the United States, there will be nobody coming to save us.
No outside superpower.
No rescue force.
No second chance.
Freedom is fragile. Prosperity is not guaranteed.
And once lost, they are brutally hard to recover.
Venezuela’s people paid the price.
America cannot afford to learn this lesson the same way.
