Doing a bit of housekeeping. With the Indiegogo campaign over, if you'd like support the show and ongoing #audiodrama adventures, consider this.
Archivists love coffee
So do sound designers
One of many ways in which archivists are like sound designers.

Absent from this episode and felt just as keenly by her silence as she is in her presence is @Inner_Qi . She added so much to this season, and I'm completely delighted people read a world of stories into her brief conversations. Doing so much in so little time and being amazing.
Stars features the absolutely wonderful @ishanikanetkar as Trast. She plays some of my favorite characters in audio fiction and Trast is no exception. Her down-to-earth (or whatever planet) likeable energy is just lovely!
Thank you for being part of this show!
Our season finale comes out tomorrow. Come back to the Archives one last time to hear from Venlor 2, as Trast repairs her ship.

I know it's not Monday, but I have something special to share.
I heard the trailer for Levian and immediately felt like I was listening to a book I'd want to read 18 times. They're crowdfunding, and it all sounds gorgeous so I wanted to spread the word.

I still remember listening to @WeirdTalesPod's audition for Dr. Drist. Specifically, I remember repeatedly listening to one line over and over. Mike is one of those magical actors who can, in two or three words, let you see and feel him trying to hold back the tide, and breaking.
Episode 7 is here!
Dr. Elpan Drist steps outside of Meandall's busy hospital ward to soak in the quiet night air and record his evening log. What part does he play in The Collected's history?
TW: Dr's log during a pandemic and all that entails.

One of the two "soundscapes are cool on their own, release them that way" inspirations was the Ship Heart from @needsanamepod, which several listeners found so soothing I made a 20-minute version and put it out on its own. Not all beautiful soundscapes are based in nature.
Tomorrow's soundscape will be a little different. Since Kavlin's speech took place in a relatively quiet room which tells us little about the sound of the world, we'll instead be sharing the sound of the Archives themselves.
@evantesseract@Inner_Qi as the First Attendant - I am so happy we've gotten to this part of the story. I loved every bit of every take she sent me of this scene, and wanted to cheer and hide under a chair at the same time. Gorgeous, intense, tense, and controlled. So much love.
Episode 6 features @evantesseract as Kavlin Do, @Inner_Qi as the First Attendant, and @Whispering_hour as the Archivist. I love when these are out and I get to talk about the acting!
I wrote this knowing Evan would be delivering it, and like Episode 4 this one was directly tied to when it was written, on the eve of an election. @evantesseract 's sincerity and just... palpable belief in people and hope was something I wanted to bottle and hold close.
Episode 6 is out!
Kavlin Do takes his moment and his chance to speak as the results of his world's latest election become clear. What is their place in the Collected's history, and the Archives?

For the First Attendant, here comes something real.
Airing on July 10th, Episode 6 - I Choose Them gives us a glimpse into the political past as political activist Kavlin Do responds to Hune's recent election.
