“Helped” is doing a lot of heavy lifting here. And Colin did do a workout at a similar time, in the same city, in which NFL scouts attended. He just refused to sign this obnoxious waiver the NFL wanted him to sign. The NFL also wanted to control all the footage, and he didn’t trust them. Gee, wonder why.
They can't figure out how to end a war they started.
They don’t know how to lower prices that they raised.
They won’t fire the drunks and incompetents they’ve hired.
But by God, they’ll build that ballroom!
Corruption for the ages.
For lack of a better term, Enes Kanter is a BITCH. Yes, I work in sports media and probably should word this in a more politically correct way but this is clown shit. I’m not biting my tongue or mincing my words.
Went harder at the NABJ for giving him a 👎🏿….a white man called you stupid and all the base in your voice left…but a Black organization said they were disappointed in your representation and you all of sudden cutting wrestling promo and jumping on Sean Hannity, smh. 🦝
This is wild @stephenasmith
Black journalists tell you that your commentary has repeatedly demeaned Black women and too often validates narratives coming from the political right. Your response is to run to one of white supremacy’s most loyal media defenders on Fox News, a network that has spent years amplifying MAGA politics, to explain why the Black community has you all wrong.
That is not helping your case, Stephen A.
That’s Exhibit A.
You’re being accused of being far too comfortable carrying water for people whose politics have been destructive toward Black communities, and your instinct is to seek validation from the very racist media ecosystem your critics are talking about.
You can’t make this stuff up.
Flock cameras risk turning the freest country in the world into a surveillance state.
Flock is building a database about every person in every car that passes one of their cameras. Flock cameras read your license plate, photograph your face, record who you’re with, they even scan and record your bumper stickers.
Flock aggregates that data to create a profile of you and your movements: where you work, where you shop, who you meet, and even what medical care you receive. We’re supposedly the freest country in the world. The government shouldn’t allow Flock to build a panopticon to spy on, blacklist, and stalk its own citizens. Enough is enough.
Respectfully, this is exactly why you got a thumbs down. Instead of asking whether or not respected Black journalists identified something in you worth considering, you immediately resort to professional warfare.
Instead of reflection, you’re focused on retaliation, spectacle and anticipation. You’re entitled to have that style, but it doesn’t give you the high ground either.
The National Association of Black Journalists gives Stephen A. Smith the “Thumbs Down” award for his “recurring public pattern of disparaging public commentary directed at prominent Black women across politics, sports and media.”

Since Rogers is just making up quotes from El-Sayed, El-Sayed should put out a statement saying he's happy to be running against Mike Rogers who said he hates all Americans and especially Americans who live in Michigan.
