@SouthwestAir wins. Bc in the case of @AmericanAir I get more accurate information from free 3rd party services for (@flightradar24 and @Flighty) than from the actual airline I'm flying. That's just sad.
Equally infuriating, or is one worse? @SouthwestAir nonstop flight status updates in 10 minute increments for delays? -or- @AmericanAir lack of ANY status updates, including arriving at gate "1 minute until boarding" with the incoming plane on final approach (still in the air)
@AmericanAir doesn't care to be transparent. They know the departure will be measurably delayed - no gate agent present with the boarding clock at 0 minutes. They *could* tell you the flight is already delayed... but they don't. That's just bad customer service.
@SouthwestAir@AmericanAir imho @SouthwestAir notifications are a bit overkill, but appreciated (and necessary bc their network averages about 25 minutes late on all departurs I've had this year).
Literally... the amount of fuel wasted by planes diverting around poopy-pants-in-chief's golfing flight restrictions could probably fund ALL of the subsides to Herr Musk's sheisty government contracts.
