Love your body. Love your connection to vessel. Your body is not disgusting. Your body is beautiful. You have the right to body autonomy. You have the right to natural medicinal treatment. Love your body's rhythm. Know your body. Listen to your body. Inhale. Exhale. ❤🫀🫁🧠🌹🌱

why are so many cases then sealed and tried away from public then? Like Andrea shaes case, orKarmelo Anthony's?

[Carol Erskine @TheCarolErskine]

An important part of this mornings motions hearing in the Lindsay Clancy case has largely been missed or overlooked: the Sixth Amendment issues surrounding the juror notes, the sidebar proceedings, and the public’s access to what occurred.

The defense’s reliance on the cases of Cohen, Waller/Presley and Jackson v. Virginia raises constitutional questions that go well beyond simply unsealing juror notes.

I’m going to spend some time reviewing the cases and will provide a full analysis on https://t.co/2zLrOQLpjO of why this issue—and what happened at sidebar before the mistrial—may be so important.

“Would you like to request voluntary departure, or should I issue a removal order?” The judge asked.

“I don’t know,” Angel, 13, replied before bursting into tears. He stared ahead stoically and continued to cry, eventually saying: “I have no one. I have nothing.”

🚨 NEW: Colin Kaepernick says NFL owners sought a prominent Black figure to help end the player protests, and even offered him a major deal while “actively blackballing” him. He rejected it.

Kaepernick says Jay-Z then “stepped into that role” as the “Black face” the NFL sought “to be able to subvert the protest.” https://t.co/nooI1uG49v

[Jennifer Greenberg 🕊️ @JennMGreenberg]

Can you imagine having a loved one murdered, or being a child abuse or rape survivor, and knowing that this woman -- this awful woman -- handled DNA in the case?

Yvonne “Missy” Woods is a former forensic analyst and 29-year veteran of the Colorado Bureau of Investigation. Over her decades-long career, Woods tampered with DNA in around 1,100 cases, 400 of which were the sexual assaults of women and children.

For reasons that cannot be fathomed, Woods reduced or destroyed DNA in rape kits, as well as evidence in multiple homicides. One of the victims was a 4-year-old girl. Another, an 88-year-old woman.

For these crimes, Woods got 10 years.

10. Years.

Her victims? A lifetime of not knowing and not feeling safe.

IMO, she should be charged as complicit in every single case she damaged. For every instance where she deleted a rapist's DNA, she should be charged as complicit in that rape. In every case where she destroyed a murderer's DNA, she should be charged with murder. She aided and abetted monsters she doesn't even know. Unfathomable.

Six people were charged in a child sex ring in South Carolina.

Matthew Fay - former Greenville Fire training officer
Waylon Rogers - former Greenville cop
Allen Foltz - former Mauldin cop
Paula Foltz - retired City of Mauldin employee
Edward Storer
Jeannine Storer

The allegations involve children UNDER 11.

Warrants say children were pulled out of bed for men to sexually assault them and retrieved when they tried to run away.

One defendant allegedly drove a child to different locations where multiple men sexually assaulted them.

Cops. A firefighter. A city employee.

I seem to have misplaced the drag queens again.

@_LaJanee_ How horrible. I truly hope her defense is telling the truth, and that it was due to her suffering a medical emergency. Prayers for everyone in this awful tragedy. 😞
