In that order.
⬇️
It's gonna be a 4-4-2. Sorinola won't be in the starting XI as FB since TC prefers more defensive FBs. In the middle White will start on the center-left. As of now the best option is to play Curtis as LW and Amaechi as RW, but I think a new LW will be signed and Curtis brought back as RW.
4-2-3-1 fits the players better, but the only effective way we have played so far is 4-4-2 and I think we'll stick to that. However, if we don't develop a plan B, it will be a problem.
@ArgyleLife1886 I think we still need a backup playmaker, maybe on loan if there's a chance. Wiredu can cover that, true, but he's not ideal. Let's see first how the rest of the team is assembled, there are still some critical areas to cover (GK, CB, LW).
Ofc it will depend on budget (I assumed limited for GK) and will to invest in such position. A few are borderline realistic transfer but again depends on the board. Hazard did not have his best last season but it's hard to find a better option for free. There are some potentially good loan options though. Fewer for a permanent move.
@Argyle Checking his stats so far and considering his young age I would assume he's going to be the backup keeper.
On the other hand, here's some suggestions for the starting GK. Soon out with some context in my recruitment plan for Argyle 26/27 😉

@CD_PAFC He could be an interesting prospect but we are already covered in that role with Boateng, Ibrahim and eventually Wiredu. We should rather look first for a Ralls/Kane replacement.
@argyletweet@ArgyleLife1886 Not ready yet to start regularly, especially playing slightly out of position. We need a new LW/LM (RW/RM if we are willing to play Curtis on the left).
I'll soon have a recruitment plan with options for both positions (better than Dale, thank God).
@PAFCNewsHub Underperformed considering the quality of the team he managed. Finished on a hight though so hopefully he can improve. Has to become less predictable though
@ArgyleLife1886 Disappointed for the season overall. We ended it on a high but let's not forget the abysmal first half. The quality in the players was there since the beginning, reduced by injuries, but still. Now let's build on the second half and hope for a better outcome next season.
@ArgyleLife1886 If we won't make the playoffs, Cleverley has to be held accountable, even taking into account all the injuries. The team has and had enough quality. The good thing is there have been improvements and not the other way around, but still.

Despite not the best performance we should have still hammered them, lucky Grecians today.
Unrecognisable Argyle for much of the second half. It seems like Amaechi forgot how to play, except for the one good cross in.
All in all, when the season come to an end, anything less than a playoff spot, for the quality this team has, will be an insufficient result. I'm happy with the way we are playing in 2026, but can't forget 2025.
@VoiceofVerite@ChiIdishDanbino Oh come on. You are talking to a man of data and you come up with one good performance out of 25... Check again the data or simply look at the abysmal display against Bolton. Personally I don't want this kind of player starting in the team I support, not under my watch.
