About to take this hair down and decided to take photos for the record.
I truly believe I look beautiful in an afro. One of my goals this year is to heal my afro; sadly, I haven’t really started out with that 😪. I wish my mom never permed my hair with relaxers, but I can understand that she probably didn’t know better. Every mother was perming their daughters’ hair around us.
I use to be a child with such full afro. So full that I remember most salons my mother took me to, the hairdressers always said “madam this your pikin hair full o” 😅.
Lately I’ve been leaning towards hair styles that accentuates the features of a black woman. There’s something about wearing my hair this way that feels familiar, like I’m reconnecting with a part of myself that has always been there.
Anyway, here’s my face card, May 30, 2026 😁
I built this mix for my philodendron.
Because philodendrons like airy, chunky, and moisture-retentive environments without staying wet, here’s the mix I made for her🙃:
The larger portion which made 60% of the entire mix, contains coco coir, biochar, chopped bark, and natural plant minerals.
Loam made 30% and small coconut shell chunks made 10%.
The last photo shows my philodendron right now. I’ll post an update on how she’s doing in the future
Reading comprehension is chasing you at full speed and somehow still losing. I literally condemned the mother in the FIRST sentence, you neanderthal. The point was that a mother behaving like that can reflect in the son’s behavior too. But I guess expecting you to understand nuance is like expecting a caveman to understand electricity. Get off my mentions you salivating little worm!
