@Junnyibk 😂😂 Funny thing is, you have to look at other women agree, support and endorse this ideals. Like this makes sense to you?? Or are you being intentionally obtuse?
@V6MPLRE Exactly!! Politics played a huge role in how religions transformed which is why you always, always need to read secular history and relate to your religion. Both could be bullshit but still…
As an intellectual I liked to have valid answers instead of “it is how it is”. But the more I tried to learn the less sense it made.
Plus learning that most religions were spread with political motivations made me wonder whether scripture is just the highest form of propaganda.
I haven’t left yet but I am at an impasse.
But I think it has to do with the realization that as a woman my religion thinks very little of me but expects too much from me. And I have to pretend it makes perfect sense.
Most birth control with exceptions of IUD have a five- year limit before you stop or replace. They also have adverse effects on your hormonal balance and your body in general.
I think a little rubber is fine
Not all women enjoy condom sex. Some really, really don’t want to get pregnant and use multiple methods. Either way being able to control when you have kids and how many changed women’s lives and these anti BC takes are weird considering abortion rights are being threatened
@torturedfilm The situation warranted it and she needed to hear it. Not that Christina was right to tell it like she did. But she showed up last minute for a surgery she hadn’t prepared for. Somebody had to tell her she was falling behind.
@Makhuele Yes actually. You can love someone and still think they’re beneath you. So you use them to nurse your ego when you don’t get the ones you actually want.
Josh Radnor explains why the HIMYM cast grew apart despite sharing such a close friendship on screen.
Interviewer: “Are you guys still as close as you were?”
Josh Radnor: “No. Not even a little bit.”
“I don’t mean that in any dramatic way.”
“It’s like college where you have this very intense time together and you think you’re going to be… you can’t imagine not seeing each other every day.”
“And then it just disperses and you just go out and live your life.”
“People really want to believe that, like, me and Neil and Jason are like hitting bars in New York City together.”
“It’s a little more like family than friends in that you don’t get to choose your family.”
“We were cast. We didn’t choose each other.”
“You also have love that is quite deep and rich and probably everlasting.”
“But it’s not an active love.”
“Acting is a lot of like little love affairs that you have and then you move on.”
This was a very interesting tweet to go through. The people in the main post are cooking the OP for even commenting on her looks.
Then there’s the group below trying to justify her appearance and giving notes on how she could improve it.
Sigh.
