Vesting is not configurable and will not be. One year cliff, then monthly to four years, the same on every project.
If founders could edit the schedule, the generated contracts would eventually stop matching what the ledger does.
That gap is the entire problem this exists to close.
If a contributor leaves before vesting, unvested units are forfeited.
If they are let go without cause, six months of vesting accelerates automatically.
Both rules are in the ledger code and in the signed grant agreement. Neither one depends on anybody's goodwill a year from now.
Your contribution history now has a URL.
Turn on your public page and anyone can see what you have built and what you own across public projects. No account needed to view it.
Off by default. Your email, your private projects, and your task history never appear.
“We never agreed I own any of this.”
That sentence shows up after the work is done. Handshake first, argument later.
On LaunchLine, Equity Units hit the ledger when a named person accepts the work. Dated. Portable. Not when someone remembers to write it down.
How do you build a real company with real people before you can pay anyone?
That is the question I kept running into. Spreadsheets and handshakes do not answer it.
I built a ledger that records ownership when work is accepted. Named person. Shared record. Not a promise later.
We do not count hours. We do not record a handshake. Software does not decide who owns what.
Only accepted work updates the ledger. A named person reviews it. Then Equity Units are recorded.
If nobody accepted it, it is not on the record.
Most indie game teams run on promised equity.
Someone helps for six months on a handshake. The terms stay vague. The game ships or it does not. Nobody remembers exactly what was agreed, and there is no record of what anyone is owed.
I built LaunchLine so that does not happen.
Every accepted task earns Equity Units on a real vesting schedule. One year cliff, four year vest. Contributor agreements generated automatically. Everyone can see exactly what they own.
Free to start. Built for teams who cannot pay yet but intend to ship something real.

@EracuStudios Most who didn’t make it weren’t short on talent. They were short on a team.
Find people who share the vision and the ownership. Build from anywhere.
@LaunchLineInc
Work was never meant to be about location.
For too long, careers hinged on geography.
You had to be in the office, at the desk, in sight of someone who could verify your existence.
If you were born in the wrong city or country, the best opportunities slipped away.
It’s time to change that.
Ownership shouldn't be tied to where you sit.
@LaunchLineInc makes it possible for anyone with the drive and the skills, anywhere, to build and own together.
Founders are building without waiting for an office. No permission needed. Just the people they trust, from wherever they choose, toward something they own together. They don’t need a headquarters. They need a system that makes remote ownership real and enforceable.@LaunchLineInc
