@theyarekal They are not small, but @PridePEI bought a ton of full size progress flags to sell at cost. I am positive they have a few dozen leftover. I think they also have smaller paper ones.
@PaperCakes If you like period pieces and/or fantasy: Penny Dreadful. Crime that isn’t debilitatingly traumatizing: Shetland. Oldies but goodies worth going back for: Doctor Who, The Wire, Halt & Catch Fire
@HumanDaniel@ChtownMutualAid@chef_ilona The kitchen staff at Red Shores made massive amounts of food and delivered it to the confed yesterday. Maybe there’s a possibility of working with them to get food made for distribution via @ChtownMutualAid ?
@victorialwalton khoaw pon authentic thai on Great George opened up for takeout 2 days ago and it was honestly a sublime experience to eat hot, spicy, fresh food!

Is it just me, or does everyone watching tv shows or movies wherein 2+ great female characters interact always pray that the narrative leads to lesbianism?
@haus_of_dan There’s other cities that do Pride outside June (Montreal’s is in august). I don’t know the historic reason for it on PEI, but I like the outside June Prides that spread out the fun and let people attend multiple prides in a single year
@_kalirae_ Once I had a list of possible careers, then I started researching. I looked up salaries, market demand for those jobs, training requirements etc. I wanted to make sure I picked something that I’d for sure find a well paying job in the place I wanted to live.
@_kalirae_ Then I looked at all the lists & brainstormed what jobs might hit as many things I wanted/was good at while avoiding things I hated/was not good at. I did both this part & the initial exercise with the help of people who know me well, sometimes others can see things you can’t
@_kalirae_ I make a podcast with a friend that’s an anti capitalist take on money/work/economics/finance. We just published an episode called “how to find a job that doesn’t suck” that you might find helpful. The podcast is called Bottom Lines Top Dollars.
@lordrooneyy Sometimes people have to move with little notice because they or their spouse get a job or get into school with little notice. I agree it’s better to do that research before moving somewhere, but sometimes there’s no time.
@petermacpei That website is a known source of biased “information”, an anti-vax propaganda site. Not credible news, not a source of peer reviewed research. Their claims regarding the negative side effects of vaccines have been debunked in legit journals and even court
