@_hmk44 I also think it would help the parade with their older audience. I remember being mesmerized with the floats and balloons when I was younger, but more interested in how they worked as I got older. #uakronmarketing
@LaneySchoonover @AlexaKaye3 I know a few years ago they did a TV special that aired the night before Thanksgiving and showed behind the scenes, but it would be even cooler to show it as the event is taking place #uakronmarketing
@AlexaKaye3 A4: additionally, if companies continue to tweet about what is happening during the parade, how the performers did and favorite parts of it, I believe the Macy's parade will stay ple ty relevant. It also has the benefit of being a tradition in many household #uakronmarketing
@AlexaKaye3 I definitely think that live streams of the event will be able to draw more people to the parade. I know so many people who don't have traditional cable anymore and online use online streaming sites. #uakronmarketing
@natmill5 @AlexaKaye3 It could also create a lack of trust between brands and consumers! I want to see the good, the bad and the ugly when it comes to a brand before I buy. I'll get really suspicious if I don't see anything bad or start seeing hidden replies.
@gracie755@AlexaKaye3 I agree! I specifically thought about the fire in France (both literal and figurative) referenced in class when creating my response
@Elij97Elijah@AlexaKaye3 I hadn't thought about that! It would be beneficial to hide repeat trolls, but I would also worry some companies would over use the tool #uakronmarketing
@gavmwilson @AlexaKaye3 I agree! I think it would perpetuate the trend of "fake news" and create a "fake reality" online surround the brand #uakronmarketing
@massenheimer57@AlexaKaye3 That's true! I feel like that would be a huge mistake for a company though as it appears they are trying to conceal parts of the truth #uakronmarketing
