May this be a lesson for humanity to never allow your government, your country’s educational system, media or anyone else to persuade your entire society to hate ‘the others’ so much that you are indifferent (or gleeful) when your own people shoots their toddlers in the head.
Seeing Zionists react to the NYT story about Palestinian children being shot in the head by Israeli forces has been both fascinating & maddening.
They have 3 general responses: jubilant celebration, outright denial, or “it’s just a couple bad apples.”

In every election campaign, the parties come the Blich High School in Ramat Gan to give speeches and campaign. Blich is a very mainstream, secular and traditionally liberal school in a middle class area. Watch how the students receive Ben-Gvir as a hero with cries of "here comes our next Prime Minister!" versus how they assault and curse the representatives of The Democrats and tear their signs. This is the future of the country.
💢 REPORT | Israel committed 19 ceasefire violations in Gaza on Thursday, killing one Palestinian and wounding 15 others, bringing the total documented violations since the ceasefire took effect to 4,931, according to a document shared by the Palestinian side with mediators and obtained by Drop Site News. The violations included 14 incidents of live fire and four airstrikes or shelling attacks, while two Palestinians were detained.
🔹 Mohammad Nasser Al-Bayouk was killed in an Israeli drone strike east of the Al-Maslak area in Khan Younis. Among those wounded were three Palestinians shot while attending a tribal reconciliation ceremony in Al-Bureij camp, two wounded by Israeli quadcopter fire in Al-Nuseirat, and four wounded by quadcopter fire near the Muawiya Mosque in Rafah.
Since the ceasefire took effect, 1,387 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks — including 297 children, 140 women, and 42 elderly people — and 4,784 wounded, nearly half of them children, women, or elderly.
🔹 Only 35% of the agreed humanitarian and commercial aid has entered Gaza since the ceasefire began, according to the document. At Rafah, 26 travelers left Gaza and 61 people returned on Thursday, while the document says overall movement through the crossing has reached just 39.1% of the agreed level.
@pgoodfellow@CraigMokhiber Given the abysmal job done by the global north, I think it is time to leave and move the UN to any country more to the south and more connected to the reality of this world. Turkey, Nepal, Thailand, Brazil, South Africa.
The US-Israel Axis continues its blatant violations of international law, (again) breaching US treaty obligations to block the Palestinian delegation from attending the UNGA at UNHQ in New York. In response, the entire world came together to pass a resolution allowing Palestine to participate via videoconferencing and recorded statements. (The resolution was opposed only by the US, the Israeli regime, and the far-right, Zionist government of Paraguay). The Axis is increasingly diplomatically isolated. But the lawless and xenophobic US is clearly no longer a safe or appropriate venue for the UN. Time to move the UN elsewhere.

@VertCarron@Max15236@1000ton_Ale@BaltideWilhem Did you take a nap when Del Toro jumped to catch Seixas on his own? What were you doing every time Del Toro was at the front when they both collaborated to increase the gap with those behind? Denying reality is what’s exasperating.
Every time it seems like no new lows can reached, a new low is reached. The courageous Yuval Avraham and Rachel Szor produced and directed the Hebrew documentary "NAZA" (acronym for "collateral damage"). In the film, 24 intelligence and firing officers describe the total lack of awareness for the rights and defenses accruing to those who are not enemy operatives. Even if one were to discount the apparent joy in the words of Israeli officers (and one should not), the systemic nature of this treatment is clear apparent.
Israel has gone into a frenzy of hate and denial. Very few people claim lies are told in the film. Most accuse Avraham and Szor of treachery, of washing dirty laundry in full view of "strangers", of being consumed by their hate for Israel as expressed by not condemning Hamas for its horrors on 7.10.23. In short, nobody denies this happened. Israel claims impunity for being "good" and then fully accepts being "bad".
Remember this. All Israelis knew and know about the genocide. No protestation of denial will do. All Israelis know that this is wrong. All Israelisbare complicit in the coverup. Any attempt to suggest a major difference between parties in this regard is a lie. Not that complicated.
