@CBCNews Federally regulated doesn't necessarily mean government employee. Many people who live below the poverty line work at federally regulated businesses.
@CBCNews There are countries just like ours where women don't pay for sanitary products at all. With the amount of tax they make of each one I highly doubt it's gonna make a dent in peoples personal income tax contribution. Period positive restrooms in businesses where I live are common
@CanRevAgency For all those wondering what this glitch is I was told back in December when I didn't get my rent rebate. They told me the CRA was not the new security disregards direct deposit info after so many years. To avoid this enter you info each year again
@AmberGasparini@CanRevAgency Metropolitan areas are eligible as I got mine. You just can't select that portion on your tax return if you live in one of the lasted areas
@JonesNetten @SherylMarie78 @CBCNews Disabled is a protected definition under the constitution. It's no one's right to say someone they. It's like me telling you what gender you are. I have MS and I am 100% considered disabled by any agency I deal with. Some of us are living with a disability.
@GreeleyDeborah @CBCNews It's a beyond crap stressful work enviroment. People don't stay in that government agency too long. Between irate taxpayers and beauocracy it's a perfect meltdown storm. From a friend who works there
@CBCNews I don't get why people fighting for fit working conditions are always seen as the devil. It's not like anyone with a family in these economic time wants to be w/o pay. Sorry it's inconvenient at tax time but let's forget the people who make sure you get the money efficiently
@CBCNews I think the government should time their contract to not end during tax season. That would be a smart idea. They had a huge strike about 20 yrs ago during tax time back when everything was paper. CRA is one of the worst government agencies to work for. I don't judges strikes
@SherylMarie78 @JonesNetten@CBCNews My bestfriend's daughter did not get her GST or OST from some "glitch" too and was told they didn't know when she would get it. Single physically disabled Mom with too kids under 2. Your not alone.
@CBCNews Which sets an example as a business in our struggling times. I know what was presented at the Feds pricing inquiry they aren't the devil in our pricing problem. In fact the financials I heard I pretty stunned. Record profits off of everything but food.
@CTVToronto I think it's important as a refresher so people have realistic ways not to use Ozempic. It's becoming the fastest life changing med for weight loss in Canada. It's life changing but not going to change you into a celebrity
@Fit4Duty_Ethics They rejected saying my complaint was creditable but to proceed they want more proof. My advocate thinks criminal charges are just. Every lawyer we try to access says the same thing these things with women in this city never go far. We figure it's someone at WRPS pulling this.
@CTVToronto I lived in an community with only private pillar one community clinics best most efficient healthcare I have ever seen. Considering lots is gonna be names we already consider a staple in quality care I am looking forward to the change especially with what we have now
@Fit4Duty_Ethics Discretionary law in these parts means (in their heads) certain WRPS can do whatever they want and it is whatever they say it is due to discretionary law. They will quote discretionary law when abusing their power
@shesrideordie@CMHA_NTL@BELLTALK_@Fit4Duty_Ethics Meh nothing screams sexual predator at WRPS then the little girl who had a drug officer who made a revolting sexual suggestion to a 14 yo girl. Now I am almost 50 and can't leave the house w/o being stalked or harassed. Glad to know I am not alone while I do the hard stuff.
@Fit4Duty_Ethics@KWAwesome@shesrideordie@TerryPender@oncivlib I can't imagine what they have spent trying to silence me. I mean I can't even leave the house without being gaslite. For whatever reason the first time a lady police officer ran a totally inappropriate intimidation skit in Waterloo Townsquare someone pointed out your journey
