@CheyCab @SportsVikingBro As a naive 29 yo, I thought townhomes would cost 100-175k. My 3 bed 2 bath, 1900 sf house in N. Mankato was less than about every townhome($250k+) in area. Realtor said I was competing with Boomer and Gen X who were actually downsizing but wanted nice finishes and neighborhoods.

@CheyCab There’s more nuance than just manure. Approx. 25% of Iowa’s ag acres get manure. There’s a lot of work being done by farmers to protect water quality and they need and want clean water, too. The challenge is complex and didn’t happen over night, progress will take time, too.
