Dante and Virgil did not live in the same era, yet Dante created a story in which he himself goes on an adventure with Virgil—this is a kind of yume fiction. yume fiction is not necessarily related to romance; it can be any secondary creation featuring an original protagonist.
Yume culture has indeed been popularized through Japan anime, but that does not mean it is Japanese culture, nor does it mean that one has to follow Japan’s unwritten rules. The earliest and most famous yume fiction is probably The Divine Comedy from several hundred years ago.
@tiny_d1 I really love this creation! Seeing this image, I feel like I can smell the sea breeze—the two of them are still continuing their adventure in this city! Thank you for creating such a story-evoking image; I love this story as well, and I look forward to your future works!
I’ve read a lot of disputes about this post. I think X is an American social media platform; we comply with laws and regulations, and we are equals. There is no reason for us to follow Japanese unspoken rules, let alone attack living people over virtual things.
If you can tolerate unofficial ship art without ship tag, why you mad at yume ship art without ship tag? Same coin, but you people keep ignore the huge red flag of not tagging unofficial ship art 🤷
