@Carra23@NevilleSouthall We've had to undergo incredible scrutiny, & rightfully so. The homeless represent the most vulnerable people in society, being granted Charitable status will help us to engage more with the wider community & allow us to continue to change people’s lives for the better
We are delighted to announce that after almost 12 months of challenging administration, The Cotton Street Project has today be granted Charitable status. The Board would like to thank the Charities Commission for their support and understanding.

Happy Birthday to Tom Hardy - a selfless man who always donates so much of his time when he’s in Liverpool.
Here he is visiting The Cotton Street project earlier this year (Mr Old Hall St Brian didn’t know who he was when he arrived & thought he was a new guest 🙈)
THE TORIES: Boris Johnson is the Heineken candidate, he'll go down a treat in the North, they love all that hair ruffling and rambling speeches up there
THE NORTH:
We will start our Christmas Appeal from Monday for new toys and food last year we helped 5473 Families throughout Liverpool (13606) children please support our appeal.starting Monday we want to make sure every child wakes up this Christmas with a sack of toys and food on table
Everyone knows Scousers will always vote Labour & how safe seats are here so I do hope the party puts forward a candidate for Wavertree who's actually a socialist with Labour values for the next election - they deserve better than a careerist again.
The fact that @lucianaberger has joined the Liberal Democrat’s is a kick in the teeth and an insult to Wavertree residents who elected her on a Labour manifesto & have suffered massively because of Lib-Dem- Tory cuts. Liverpool 64% cuts😱
We've had some terrible Tory PMs over the last few years but I think Boris has surpassed them all in just a few short weeks - so terrible at his job that even his own brother can't be loyal to him.
I wonder if his parents can get a refund from Eton?
It’s been an honour to represent Orpington for 9 years & to serve as a minister under three PMs. In recent weeks I’ve been torn between family loyalty and the national interest - it’s an unresolvable tension & time for others to take on my roles as MP & Minister. #overandout
Meet Billy, he is from Huyton, and he was refused a bed from Labre for that reason.
He has been with us for 4 weeks and has already come off his 30 year addiction - hopefully this is the start of a great recovery.
To celebrate Liverpool’s birthday, I’m giving away a stay in our wonderful city.
Overnight stay for 2 at @30JamesSt overlooking the docks, 2 course meal on our rooftop bar & terrace and spa treatments in @morgansspaliv
Just retweet this tweet & I’ll pick a winner.
Happy Birthday Liverpool. I've seen the world and still nowhere compares to home. I am so privileged to be a born & bred Scouser and to live, work and raise children in the greatest city in the world.
Happy Birthday Liverpool ❤️
We are 812 years old today. On this date in 1207, King John signed letters that would set Liverpool up as a free borough and privileged port 😍 🎂
To celebrate we want you to reply with the best picture of our city in your phone. 📸
We’ve known for a long time in Liverpool that The S*n is full of lies and right wing propaganda so it is no surprise that they’re yet again publishing lies. When will the rest of the country follow our lead and #dontbuythesun
An odd choice of picture indeed given that the incident was outside Crowne Plaza hotel (as stated in the article), not 30 James St hotel but I’m sadly used to this by now.
More importantly though, well done to Dan Turnbull for his heroic actions and all those helped.
