Just logged back into this app to say that: RED VELVET STILL SLAPS HARD. I've stopped following K-Pop religiously since 2022, but I just recently got drawn back to my previous hardcore Reveluv rabbit hole, and HOLY SHIIIT I got reminded that their music really is *chef's kiss*.
I'm not updated with the current K-Pop scene, but I think the industry doesn't (and couldn't) make groups like Red Velvet anymore. A one-of-a-kind girl group in its era, and I will forever be a fan π«‘
Tweeting this to document my New Year's resolution of substituting hours of random doom scrolling to exerting an active effort to dust off my Letterboxd account and get myself back to my film nerd era. I have been on "hiatus" since 2020. Let's see where this goes. π
@jayclops_ Omg karon rako kakita kay di nako active sa Twitter. But thanks!! May 10-year-old songs din kasi na category last time so nag move back lang ko another 10 years. Hahaha
Don't get me wrong, I can understand why people would like this film. It was an enjoyable watch. People in the cinema were screaming and laughing. But if you critique the film objectively, you would understand my points. Nonetheless, congrats to this film and all its awards.
So the upcoming new Dreamcatcher album actually has 13 tracks, with 6 tracks as a group and 7 solo tracks for each of its 7 members?? Now that's how to make an album. #Apocalypse_SaveUs
