a month ago https://t.co/hRm3vteHZx let you launch a coin priced in something other than SOL. tokenized stocks, wrapped BTC, metals. one level: your coin, its quote, done.
last week they went further: the quote can be another https://t.co/hRm3vteHZx coin. a new coin paired with a coin already on the platform, still on its curve or migrated to PumpSwap. every buy of the new coin routes through the one below it.
on October 13 the limit moved again. Global.max_curve_depth went from 1 to 2: a coin can be paired with a coin that is paired with a coin. the program itself caps it at 5. it’s recursive, and it has levels.
crypto already has a name for that. a coin paired with SOL is an L1. a coin paired with it is an L2. a coin paired with an L2 is an L3. so we built the launchpad for it. meet LAYERS.
$L1 is the base layer: a standard https://t.co/hRm3vteHZx coin paired with SOL, depth 0. anyone can launch a layer on the stack: pick a base layer ($L1, or any coin already on it), name it, drop a logo, send SOL. the sequencer builds the quote chain accounts and creates it with create_v2 priced in the layer below. L2, L3, as high as https://t.co/hRm3vteHZx allows.
buying an L3 from SOL is one multi_hop_swap: SOL → $L1 → L2 → L3. you cannot buy a layer without buying everything under it. structurally. on-chain.
every layer launches with a 1% creator fee, paid in the layer it runs on. not in SOL. an L2 doesn’t accumulate SOL, it accumulates $L1. an L3 accumulates its L2.
then the settlement. one clock, every 10 minutes, for every layer on the stack:
→ claim 100% of its creator fees
→ 50% buys the layer itself and burns it
→ 50% burns the layer below, on the spot
$L1 has nothing below it, so both halves buy $L1 back and burn it.
nothing is ever sold. no team wallet, no ops cut, no treasury. every layer ends up burning the layers beneath it, down to $L1. everything settles to the base layer. the taller the stack, the more $L1 burns.
every settlement is three transactions on Solscan, and the whole stack is live on the site: every layer, its base, its height, its chain, every settlement, in a block explorer with a live log.
we tested it against mainnet, not a devnet: max_curve_depth reads 2, and create_v2 with a pump-coin quote simulates clean at depth 1 and depth 2 on real coins launched this week.

LAYERS explained 09/09 — Understand the dependencies.
These are memecoins. Burns do not guarantee gains.
Trading generates the fees used for settlement. Without trading volume, there are no new trading fees to process.
Upper layers depend on lower layers. An L3 inherits exposure to its L2 and the foundation beneath it.
The engine runs off-chain, and creator-wallet keys are stored encrypted on its server. If the engine stops, unclaimed fees remain in their vaults until processing resumes.
Execution also depends on https://t.co/hRm3vteHZx, its SDK, Solana RPCs and successful transactions. Settlement steps can fail and require retries.
Supply reduction is measurable. Future demand and price are uncertain.
Read the mechanics, inspect the transactions and understand the stack before participating:

LAYERS explained 08/09 — Know the engine’s role.
The sequencer is an off-chain engine operating over https://t.co/hRm3vteHZx coins.
It can:
• Launch coins paired with eligible layers.
• Claim creator fees.
• Execute buybacks and burns.
• Pause processing.
• Change the schedule, split and thresholds for future settlements.
The docs describe its operating limits: no selling, no minting additional tokens, no freezing holders, and no changing a coin’s fee after creation.
It also cannot change https://t.co/hRm3vteHZx’s fees or exceed its permitted nesting depth.
The engine depends on server operation. Public transaction history lets you inspect what it actually executes.
Read the permissions and limits:
https://t.co/IbrmFne3zA
LAYERS explained 07/09 — Prices follow the quote chain.
How do you price a coin paired with another memecoin?
Start with its reserves.
Before graduation, LAYERS reads the bonding curve’s virtual reserves. After graduation, it reads the pool’s vault reserves.
That gives the coin’s price in its quote token. To calculate USD value, the engine follows the quote chain down to SOL.
For an L3:
L3 price in L2 × L2 price in $L1 × $L1 price in SOL × SOL price in USD.
This is why a lower layer’s price can affect the USD value of the layers above it.
The charts use the engine’s own price samples, calculated from on-chain data.

the $L1 buyback is fixed and running. first settlement after the fix: claimed 0.457 SOL, bought 0.80 SOL of $L1 on PumpSwap, burned 3,640,619 tokens. txs on the site. from here every 10 minutes, like it was supposed to be from minute one.
now the part I’m only going to address once.
what broke: $L1 graduated to PumpSwap within the first 10 minutes. the PumpSwap SDK moves 5% more than the amount you tell it to spend (slippage buffer, refunded after the swap). my sequencer was spending its whole balance minus a 0.02 SOL gas reserve, so every buy bigger than ~0.35 SOL came up 5% short and got rejected before it ever hit the chain. the claim is a separate transaction, so the fees kept landing in the dev wallet and the buy kept failing. six cycles, ~50 SOL claimed, zero bought.
what I did: I stole the fees. not “redirected”, not “held for later”. the SOL was sitting in the dev wallet, the chart was exploding, and I moved it out to my own wallet. that is exactly the one thing this launchpad promised would never happen, and the dev did it with his own hands. I’m human, the money was in front of me, and I took it. no excuses, no spin, that’s on me.
what I’m not: a dev who walks. the bug is found, reproduced with the real wallet (insufficient lamports 401527590, need 402255000 — the 5% to the lamport), fixed, deployed, and the first settlement after the fix bought and burned. the code and every settlement are public.
and this isn’t my first machine. experiment blast is a fully automated buyback engine that ran to 4M MC that has been running on its own since launch, still running today, and it has put over $200k back into its chart. https://t.co/27ru5hY8hR go check it, it’s live.
so: I robbed the first hour of this project, I’m telling you myself, and the machine now does what it says. nothing sold, ever, from here on. judge the next 100 settlements, not my worst 60 minutes.

LAYERS explained 06/09 — Watch the stack evolve.
Epochs mark milestones in the stack explorer.
Progress is measured through the number of layers launched and the USD value of fees settled. The stages run from genesis through devnet, testnet, mainnet beta, mainnet, superchain, hyperchain and omnichain.
These are names for explorer milestones. They do not mean LAYERS deploys a separate blockchain at each stage.
Every block represents a real coin. Its size reflects market cap, and its position shows the layer it builds on.
During settlement, the connectors animate and the base pulses when the cycle finalizes.
The explorer turns the stack’s structure and settlement activity into something you can inspect visually.

LAYERS explained 05/09 — Launch your layer.
Start by choosing what your coin will build on.
Connect your wallet.
Select an eligible coin on the stack as your base.
Add your coin’s name, ticker, description and logo.
Choose an optional dev buy.
Fund the fresh launch wallet with SOL.
The deposit covers creation, fees, the wallet’s gas reserve and any selected dev buy.
The launchpad creates your coin paired with the chosen base. An optional dev buy routes from SOL through the stack, with purchased tokens sent to your wallet.
Starting prices use the live reserves along the quote chain.
The docs specify refunds for failed launches, and for the dev-buy portion if creation succeeds but that purchase fails.

LAYERS explained 04/09 — How the layers connect.
Follow an L3 through the stack.
Its trading generates fees in L2 tokens. Under the current split, settlement uses half to buy back and burn L3, while the other half burns L2.
The L2’s trading generates fees in $L1. Its settlement buys back and burns L2, then burns part of the collected $L1.
At the foundation, $L1’s own SOL fees fund $L1 buybacks and burns.
There are two connections: purchases route upward through the quote chain, while settlements burn the coin and its immediate base.
Each layer processes its own fees. An L3 settlement does not directly burn every token farther down the stack.
Explore the mechanics:
https://t.co/IbrmFne3zA
LAYERS explained 03/09 — Claim. Buy back. Burn.
The engine currently runs settlement every 10 minutes.
For each layer, it claims the available creator fees and applies the current split:
50% → buys the coin itself, then burns the tokens purchased.
50% → burns the quote tokens collected: the layer directly below.
Example: an L3 collects fees in L2 tokens. Half buys back and burns L3. The other half burns L2 directly.
$L1 has no layer beneath it, so both portions buy back and burn $L1.
Pots below the current $0.25 processing threshold wait. Failed steps are retried in a later cycle. Settlement records include transaction links.
The schedule, split and thresholds can change for future settlements.
Follow the ledger:
https://t.co/PQ4guZo1mp
LAYERS explained 02/09 — Fees are paid in the layer below.
New layers currently launch with a 1% creator fee on each trade, in addition to https://t.co/hRm3vteHZx’s own fees.
The fee is collected in the coin’s quote token:
• An L2 collects $L1.
• An L3 collects its L2.
• The base $L1 collects SOL through https://t.co/hRm3vteHZx’s standard creator fee.
Each coin’s designated creator is its sequencer wallet. The engine claims those fees and processes them during settlement.
The creator-fee rate is fixed when the coin is created. It cannot be changed afterward.
The settlement schedule and allocation are separate settings: those can change for future settlements.
Understand where the fees go:

LAYERS explained 01/09 — Stack coins on coins.
LAYERS is a launchpad on https://t.co/hRm3vteHZx where new coins pair with another coin on the stack.
The foundation is $L1, paired with SOL.
An L2 pairs with $L1.
An L3 pairs with an L2.
To buy an L3 from SOL, the swap follows this route:
SOL → $L1 → L2 → L3
That means reaching the upper layer involves buying through the layers beneath it. The coins share a connected pricing path, and upper layers depend on their foundations.
The stack follows https://t.co/hRm3vteHZx’s permitted nesting depth.
Explore how it works:

Here’s how the stack works ↓
🧱 $L1 is the base, paired with SOL. An L2 pairs with $L1. An L3 pairs with an L2. Buying up the stack routes through the layers below.
🔥 Trading fees are collected in the layer a coin runs on. At settlement, part buys back and burns the coin itself; part burns the layer below. $L1’s fees buy back and burn $L1.
🚀 Launch by connecting your wallet, choosing a base layer, adding your coin’s details and funding its launch.
📊 Explore the stack’s epochs, prices calculated from on-chain reserves, and a public settlement ledger with transaction links.
⚙️ The sequencer runs off-chain. It handles launches and burns, and can adjust future settlement settings. It cannot mint tokens, freeze holders or change a coin’s fee after launch.
Understand the dependencies: no trading means no fees to burn, upper layers depend on lower layers, and settlement depends on the engine running. Burns reduce supply; they don’t guarantee price gains.
