Dear Minister @jnbarrot, despite the agreement and the ceasefire, #Kobani remains under siege by the interim government.

The lack of clean water, electricity, and adequate shelter has already led to a rise in dysentery among children. More than 22 children have been hospitalized with intestinal diseases, and doctors warn that medicine stocks to treat them have run out.

If this siege and the collapse of basic services continue, a major humanitarian catastrophe in #Kobane is inevitable.

Please do not remain silent about the situation in Kobani. I hope @MazloumAbdi and @ElhamAhmadSDC will brief you further on the dire conditions.
