Big sisters have a special kind of love. They may tease you, argue with you, and drive you crazy, but when it comes to protecting their younger ones, they become your strongest shield.

Stop judging people by where they are in their journey. You have no idea what theyโve survived, what theyโre building, or how far theyโve already come. Everyoneโs timeline is different. Give people grace.

It was an honor to serve as a panelist at the NTIC Business Networking Event, where I spoke on โFrom Ideas and Skills to a Sustainable Venture.โ
Sharing my journey, lessons, and practical insights with a room full of ambitious entrepreneurs and professionals was both inspiring and rewarding. Grateful for the opportunity to contribute to conversations that encourage innovation, collaboration, and lasting business impact.
Thank you to the organizers for creating a platform where great minds connect, collaborate, and grow. Hereโs to building businesses that endure.
One year ago, The Oasis was nothing more than a dream built on faith, compassion, and the hope of giving vulnerable children a place to call home.
Today, that dream is alive.
As we look back on this journey, our hearts are filled with gratitude. We have watched these beautiful children grow, heal, laugh, learn, and blossom into brighter versions of themselves. Their transformation is a reminder that love, care, and mercy can truly change lives.
Above all, we give all praise and thanks to Allah (SWT). None of this would have been possible without His guidance, protection, and endless mercy. He has preserved every child, strengthened every caregiver, and carried us through every challenge.
This short documentary captures only a glimpse of what Allah has done over the past year. Behind every smile is a story. Behind every milestone is a prayer answered.
As we celebrate our first anniversary, we pray that Allah continues to protect our children, increase them in knowledge and righteousness, bless everyone who has supported this vision, and grant The Oasis many more years of growth, love, hope, and transformation.
Alhamdulillah for one beautiful year.
Please watch, celebrate with us, and keep The Oasis and our children in your prayers. This is only the beginning.
Choosing a partner is one of the most important decisions youโll ever make. The right person brings peace, growth, and purpose. The wrong one can cost you your confidence, your dreams, and years youโll never get back. Choose character over chemistry. Peace over pressure. Wisdom over emotions.
Leadership is not about power. It is about carrying burdens that few people will ever see. Every decision, every setback, every sleepless night and every sacrifice happens long before the applause. If you choose the path of leadership or entrepreneurship, understand that the journey will often be lonely. But if your vision is strong enough, keep going. The weight you carry today may become the legacy you leave tomorrow.
Take responsibility for your life and take back your power. Stop focusing on what went wrong and start asking, "What can I do next?" Growth begins when you choose to own your future, even if it means outgrowing people who no longer understand your journey.
Not everyone will celebrate your growth, and that's okay. If your dreams make some people uncomfortable, it means you're refusing to play small. Keep growing, keep showing up, and never dim your light to make others comfortable. You were created to stand out, not fit in.
Aisha is only 9 years old, but today she reminded us that every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and dream.
This beautiful young girl is reading a book published by Read World Class Academy in honor of my charity and philanthropic journey, particularly the work we have done through The Oasis to bring hope, love, education, and a brighter future to vulnerable children.
What makes this even more special is that Read World Class Academy is on a mission to teach children across Northern Nigeria how to read. By seeing children like Aisha confidently read and tell stories, many more children will be inspired to learn, pick up a book, and discover the endless possibilities that education provides.
Watching Aisha read my story filled my heart with gratitude. It is a reminder that the greatest legacy is not what we achieve for ourselves, but the lives we touch and the hope we inspire in others.
Thank you, Aisha, for reading so beautifully. Thank you, Read World Class Academy, for investing in the future of our children.
One child who learns to read today can change the world tomorrow. @readworldclass
Everyone is fighting a battle you cannot see. Be kind.
And as a leader, remember: people may leave your team, but the impact you made in their lives remains. True leadership is building people, not owning them.
Lead with grace. Let them grow.
The pain you survived was never meant to destroy you. It was meant to strengthen you. Every setback carries a lesson, every struggle builds resilience, and every challenge prepares you for a greater level.
Turn your pain into power and your obstacles into opportunities. Your story is still unfolding.
A person who constantly tears others down is revealing more about themselves than the people they criticize. In business and in life, integrity, respect, and gratitude will always be more valuable than skill alone.
Your reputation is built by what you say when others are not in the room.
The Sallah holiday may be over, but the memories are still fresh in our hearts. We had an amazing time celebrating together at L&N Kitchen with all my children on Sallah Day, and the energy was incredible. As we step into a new week, may the joy, peace, and blessings of Sallah continue to guide us. May this next phase of life bring open doors, answered prayers, good health, meaningful connections, and success in all that we do. Thank you to everyone who celebrated with us and made the day unforgettable. Here's to greater days ahead.
The joy of spending time with your children is something words can barely capture. Last week, I stepped away from everything and simply hung out with my kids. Their laughter, their excitement, the way they jumped around without a care in the world filled my heart with joy.
While they had the time of their lives playing, I found myself painting, just soaking in the peace of the moment, and watching them be happy.
As the โChief Fun Officer,โ This is definitely something Iโll be doing more often. Because at the end of the day, these little moments are the big ones.
I once carried the weight of being everything to everyone the listener, the healer, the one who never walked away. Until I learned a hard truth: people rarely value constant sacrifice; they only react when access to you changes.
So I stopped abandoning myself to preserve others. And in choosing distance, I did not lose people I rediscovered my worth.
Today was all about fun, creativity, and beautiful memories with the kids at Naija Kids Art
We had such an amazing time exploring different activities together. From designing t-shirts, painting caps, customizing notebooks, bag painting, pot painting, and so much more, every moment was filled with laughter, excitement, and creativity.
Seeing the kids express themselves through art was honestly the best part of the day. Their smiles, energy, and imagination made everything so special.
In a world chasing attention, choose substance. Question boldly, but live with discipline and purpose.
Trends fade. Character remains.
Donโt just make noise, make impact.
A beautiful day with my kids.
I came early to prepare their space and make sure everything was just right before they returned from school. We shared laughter, I introduced the kids to a new family member, and ended the day with a beautiful Quran recitation that truly warmed my heart.
