@HadiganMatter @spamuelescobar @TauCetiGG What didn't they listen about? They've been incredibly reactive to feedback. I don't think I've seen a live service game be as live as Marathon ever. Some devs and testers hang in creator's Twitch chats, befriending players, explaining patches on drop. Never seen such dedication.

@grievence @TheGarak8472 They will go on to curse Marathon, hope it dies, because they believe it killed Destiny. When the truth is Destiny just out-lived itself. It lasted longer than many games, was a good game and had a good run, but its time to let old dog rest. Enjoy this time we have both games.

@grievence @TheGarak8472 Like yes it makes sense from a business standpoint to follow the views, but if you are enjoying the new game and have a following, completely leaving the new game behind chasing a potential dollar is very telling of your character. Shows you are more in it for money than fun.

@melloh_yelloh_ A campaign is one thing. Well-known creators getting it to basically help promote it. But for a multiplayer, nothing can top Infinite's release. We were waiting for months after the 2nd or 3rd delay.. and then they suprise drop it a month early! Do that again. But complete!

For the past 6 years, I feel like I’ve consumed a lifetime worth of information. All in the pursuit of giving back to Halo.

@chi_is_a_mess Just like the complex command nerf in sponsered mode. A handful of players farmed an unlimited prestige source uncontested. If you came late? The loot was nerfed. They need to forsee crap and have safeguards for it. OR just leave it until next season, so everyone has opportunity.

@chi_is_a_mess Players farm compiler, glitch barters and choose exactly what golds they want, later players can't do the same. The problem isn't making the change, its NOT having it first, THEN changing it mid-season, ensuring that the already skewed loot economy is fucked beyond existence...

@grievence @polomarcopoloma @TheGarak8472 D2 went peacefully. Yall have the biggest update ever, made the game playable and enjoyable. They could've made that update all along... but didn't.. whats that tell you? Marathon didn't kill Destiny. Destiny died of old age and yall are the farmers refusing the calf left behind.

There was a creator here that said "I go where the views are and marathon doesn't have them so I'm playing D2 again." He is part of that reason. You are. All of you wish it fails, not even trying the game.

@grievence You really must not understand game development then bruh, yes, thats literally how it works. If a game doesn't get reception they shut it down. If a game isn't profitable, they shut it down, and fund new games that hopefully will make profit. Destiny? Didn't make profit either.

@mrgruntington You don't make promises you don't know you can keep. The gaming industry has burned itself more often than not by providing rough roadmaps and then fans getting mad when the plans change. Because they always do in early development when speaking on games that are only ideas atp.

@PaulTassi Its less work than anything. Spawn in one team over the same cryo and remove vault doors and point system. its not like they're building a whole new game, map or mode. Its just a modified Sponsored Survival for Cryo with a CARRI point type system, which they have the parts for.
